Such a joy and privilege to journey alongside these 8 wonderful women over 12 weeks on the Women in Leadership programme!
In our final session on Wednesday we practised group facilitation and live coaching, shared programme highlights and actions and, most importantly, affirmed each other.
Favourite tools included: coaching, communication preferences, executive presence, getting buy-in, playing big, uncovering unique leadership styles, navigating difficult conversations and empowering teams through each stage of team development!
My co-coach Hannah Gould and I have been so impressed by the high level of coaching capability and the ways in which delegates have practised, championed and supported each other.
I am going to miss our weekly sessions but I am confident this group of women will be cheerleaders for life! (some of them are also joining my coaching team at SMUK Life next week!)

2 weeks to go until the launch of Women in Leadership and we can’t wait to welcome you and/or your female leaders to the studio ✨.

SMART Step 6: Physical Health
Focusing on my physical health has been a hugely successful stress management strategy. Physical health relieves stress, increases energy and productivity. The more you move the more you want to move.
This is me on a recent holiday, walking and exploring the streets of Province. Walking is one of my favourite and easiest forms of exercise.
What’s your physical health hacks?
Heres some things you could try:
1). Movement
*Try walking more or taking the stairs.
*Between meetings or when you get an energy dip, stand and stretch, go for a walk, do a mini workout or housework (if working from home).
*Book in a regular workout/class/swim or workout in the park with a friend.
*Book a message.
*Try physical icebreakers or standing meetings.
*Managers role model and encourage the importance of movement.
2). Nourishment
*Have a refillable bottle of water on your desk to keep hydrated and fill it up as soon as it’s empty.
*Try making healthy batch meals or having ingredients to hand to throw together easy healthy meals when needed.
*Listen to your body and how it responds to different types of food and the time you’re eating.
*Managers role model and encourage the importance of nutrition.
3). Sleep and rest
*Try a sleep routine: turning the TV and your phone off by a certain time, preparing for the next day, reading/journaling/meditating/praying and being asleep by X.
*Try listening to your body and slowing down and relaxing more.
*Managers role model and encourage the importance of sleep and rest.
