Civil Service Interview Hacks To Help You Get Hired.

The number one mindset key that you must get your head around when preparing for an interview is that the requirements of the Civil Service interview process are not the same as the private sector.

I can not count the number of times l have given the phone an eye roll when I hear Americanised tips and questions given out purporting to be Civil Service Interview tips.

Asking questions such as:
* Do you have any concerns about hiring me?🤔
* Tell me about the last time you fired someone? 🙄
* Give me three adjectives describing blah, blah, blah about the company? 🧐

Seriously, as a coach who has sat on interview panels, the consensus thought across for interviewers would be. Is this candidate seriously OK?

I urge you to use decernment to avoid embarrassment as this type of, I want to catch you out, shenigans could cost you the job offer.

Ditch the 'Go Get'em, I'm gonna get you' type of catchphrases and get prepped to have a professional adult conversation about how your behaviours, skills, knowledge, and expertise are a good fit for the role.

Landing your next opportunity depends on you to show up as the person who is established in the role.
