⚽ KTX COACH SHOWCASE | SERGIO GONZALEZ

We’re delighted to feature Sergio Gonzalez, Goalkeeper Coach at Racing Louisville FC (NWSL), in our latest KTX Coach Showcase.

Sergio has been Goalkeeper Coach at Racing Louisville for six seasons. Prior to that, he spent 20 years in college soccer, working at Slippery Rock, University of Dayton, NJIT, Indiana University and Ohio State University. He has also worked with the US Youth National Teams.

What we particularly like about Sergio’s sessions is the way 2D and 3D visualisation work together. A clean 2D diagram can provide the tactical overview, while 3D can help bring the practice to life and communicate the coach’s ideas from a different perspective.

That’s what KTX is designed to do — give coaches the tools to plan, visualise and communicate their own coaching ideas, while allowing every coach to retain their own methods, identity and creativity.

⚽ The Digital Journey of Futsal Coaching

Every great coach remembers where they started.

For many of us, it was notebooks filled with ideas, whiteboards covered in tactical sketches and hours spent preparing the next training session.

Those methods built the foundations of the game we love.

We’re proud to share that KwikTactiX has collaborated with Major League Soccer to deliver the first-ever fully interactive “Smart” Session Plan Template, created specifically for the MLS NEXT Elite Formation Coaching License – 2025–2026 Cohort.

This template is currently being used by 24 elite coaches — one from each MLS club — as part of one of the most rigorous and respected coaching education programmes in world football.

Each candidate uses KwikTactiX to create, develop, and submit their assessment session plans for formal marking.

The MLS Elite Formation Coaching License (EFCL) candidates progress through a complete, assessment-ready coaching workflow, delivered in collaboration with the Major League Soccer and the French Football Federation (FFF).

This program has played a significant role in shaping the MLS Player Pathway, contributing directly to the development of MLS Head Coaches, MLS NEXT Pro coaches, Chief Soccer Officers, and MLS NEXT Academy coaches operating across the professional game.
