Communication and visibility coaching for extraordinary changemakers.

I’ve just come off a client call & I’m having a little party to celebrate the utter EPICNESS of my clients 🎉

Soraya* has been struggling with enjoying the journey instead of wanting the result now.

😩 The problem is that she’s getting frustrated at herself, burnt out, and constantly battling with self-induced high expectations.

She made a fascinating observation today (and this is where I bloody love how open to deep thinking my clients are)…

➡️ The frantic energy she holds around achieving the goal immediately translates to almost everything she does, from wanting dinner instantly to wanting that qualification to enjoying an award-winning podcast this afternoon (when she hasn’t even started it yet).

🤔 Sound familiar?

After more digging, she realised it came from a pattern she saw growing up. Her mum constantly moved from one thing to the next, rushing around and wanting instant gratification. She said, ‘it’s no wonder I don’t know any different!’ 😳

🥴 And yet, the idea of slowing down and enjoying the journey felt uncomfortable to her. Like, really uncomfortable.

✍🏻 So we came up with a little mantra which I wanted to share with you, too:

This is your permission to slow down.
Your permission to be kind to yourself.
To learn what that means.
To get it wrong, to get it right and wrong again.
There is no expectation, just permission - and this is yours.

…as I said, I bloody love my clients.

Who’s up for a little game? This one’s easy – 2 truths and 1 lie. I’ll go first.

Which of these is a lie?

✈️ Whenever I fly, I have to have a cup of tea and a kit kat on the flight (don't ask why, I don't eat kit kats apart from on planes 😂)

💤
🛏️ When I travel, I travel with my own pillow

☀️ Summer is my favourite season

Drop your guesses in the comments and I’ll let you know if you got it right! ⬇️

Why is it so hard to introduce myself as a founder? It could be because;

> Your selfworth has been affected by other people's reactions to you in your past

> You’re worried about making a “bad” first impression

> That pesky imposter syndrome keeps throwing you off

> You don’t truly believe you can hold the space as the expert you are

All these things are NORMAL and even more so when you’re a new small business owner or not used to networking.

That’s why we’ve put together this cheat sheet on how to introduce yourself as a small business owner.

*personal post*. I don’t usually talk about this, but I thought I'm should address it in this post:

Last week I got overwhelmed.

We were away at a wedding (which was amazing), then before flying on Kenya, on my one free day instead of saying that I needed time to get myself sorted, I decided to take a couple of client calls.

This was although I'd already told them I was off. I said I'd do them a favour and 'squeeze them in' as technically I was around.

But what did that mean? I got stressed, I ran out of time to sort myself out properly and I had let go of a boundary I'd already put in place.

The learning? A good reminder of the 'say no to say yes' thought. If I say no to something or someone, what does that allow me to do instead?

In my case... get ready for my honeymoon, stress free.

Have you ever let go of a boundary you'd already set?

(and yes, this is me at 6am with bed-hair admiring the sunrise 🤣)

Keeping it real today 🤣

Bank holiday Monday is consisting of -

✅ Joggers and a hoodie
✅ Mugs of tea the size of my head
✅ Final wedding prep bits (it’s next weekend!)
✅ Making sure everything is in place to keep clients and help the business going whilst we’re in Cyprus for a few days after ☀️

What are you up to today? x

As we roll into the bank holiday weekend, I’m celebrating my incredible client who has just finished her coaching journey with me today 🥂🥂🥂

Not only is she a motivated, ambitious, visionary business owner, but she has also worked SO hard, both in and out of our sessions, to level up her mindset, cultivate confidence and create HER version of success 🥳

It just shows what you put in, you really do get out - especially when it comes down to coaching - because although the breakthroughs might happen in our sessions, the deep-rooted, long-lasting magic happens in the implementation in-between 🤩

If you’re ready to get clarity, confidence and take up your space as a leader, a visionary and an epic business owner - drop me a DM with the word ‘WAITLIST’. There is a space in my new 6 month 1:1 container which has your name on it x

You’re a dreamer, a do-er and a disrupter. You’re a visionary, you’ve got plans for your business and you want to do things differently.

You’ve got the bigger plan, you know the goals and dreams you’re working towards.

You’ve started working towards it, and you’ve had a good level of success so far.

But there’s more!

You want to do more, be more and say more in your industry- you want to be know as a speaker, a leader and a thought provoker.

And yet, there’s a lack of confidence holding you back… and it’s getting worse.

With more success comes more comparison, more questioning yourself, more doubting your decisions. You know you need to outsource to your team so that you can focus on the things that only you can do - and yet there’s a lack of faith that they can do it as well. Fear of further growth is scarier than staying where you are now, and yet by staying comfortable, you’re stagnating - and you know it’s time to level up.

Does this sound familiar? If your soul is saying YES and you’re ready to move forwards, keep your eyes peeled as something exciting is coming for you tomorrow 👀
