anxiety within the workplace has become normalised to a scary extent.
we all agree that we should wake up on a Monday morning and immediately begrudge going to work
a place we spend over a third of our entire life by the way! 👀
not wanting to go to work is normal, but there should be reasonable limits surrounding how your workplace makes you feel 🩵
a work environment is a place for professionalism, but it also should be a place for growth and understanding
it’s essential for productivity that employers and employees know which problems should be left at the door
both the home problems you leave at home, and the work problems you leave at work 💻
in a nutshell:
➡️ if you’re experiencing daily anxiety, panic or overwhelm from thinking about work or being at work, there’s a bigger issue
➡️ if you feel you can’t communicate issues with your boss due to being made to feel ‘over dramatic’, there’s an issue
sometimes a role simply isn’t the right fit, but more times than not there’s a gap in the workplace
a gap that needs team-building and well being knowledge

What the brain believes, the body feels 💙
And beliefs within the brain are composed of several things:
➡️ Our ‘inner-talk’: the ideas and statements we repeat to ourselves
➡️ Our beliefs: what we deem to be true in relation to ourself e.g. if you’re always telling people you run late to things, you’ll keep being late!
What you say to yourself, even passing comments - go a LOT deeper than you realise…
So in times of stress or panic, you need to LEAD with positive and grounding thoughts 💭
Save this post for later and all I’m asking is that you give it a go 👀

It’s true that the body and brain influence each other - but you ultimately influence both!
For example: we feel fear, our brain interprets danger and tells our body to prepare for fight or flight…
To get this all in your order you NEED to know how to care for your nervous system and get it back into check 💙
Chronic stress in any form leads to a rise in inflammation, which down the road can cause some pretty nasty situations i.e. heart disease, risk of a heart attack - you get the gist! 😬
The key here is to CONTROL THE CONTROLLABLE: your response
What do you do when these triggers come into play? You’re response means everything 🙌🏻
