If you've ever set a goal that felt right at the time… only to realise a few weeks later it was pulling you in the wrong direction… you’re not alone.
We’ve all been there, myself included.
Which is why in this week’s episode of the Unapologetic Mompreneur podcast, I’m sharing the questions I use with my Breakthrough Brew strategy session clients to test if a goal is truly the right goal for you.
And we’re going way beyond the ‘SMART’ stuff that we all know how to do…
This is about alignment, motivation, intention, and whether a goal will actually move you forward in your business.
Discover how to:
✨ Know if a goal fits with where you are and where you want to go.
✨ Understand the real return on investment of your goals.
✨ Decide whether to park or even let go of goals that don’t serve you.
If you’ve been feeling the pressure to set the ‘right’ goals this January, this episode is here to help you stop pouring all of your energy into the things that don’t light you up, focus on the goals that are really yours (instead of the ones everyone else tells you to set), and turn scattered effort into real momentum that lasts.
Tune in now on your favourite podcast player or DM me the word GOAL and I'll send you the link! 🎯🔥
Here’s to setting the right goals this year and creating real momentum that lasts – without losing yourself in the process.
Happy listening!🤩

P.S. January can bring a lot of noise about what you should be working on. If you’re unsure whether a goal is right for you, or you just want to sense-check it with someone who gets it, send me a message and let me know what you’re working on.
As a certified goal success coach and accountability coach, helping you spot misaligned goals and create clarity is one of my zones of genius - and that’s what my Breakthrough Brew strategy sessions are designed for too.

💛 How do you want your 2026 to feel?
Rushed, scattered, saying yes to everything, hoping that it works out?
Or calm, intentional, connected and supported?
Join me for my mini-workshop, Your Intentionally Aligned Business:
🗓️ Monday 12th January
📍 The Little Arts Workshop, Bishop's Stortford
⏰ 10am–12pm
As well as all the usual things you’ve come to love about our Thrive meetups…
🌱 Great conversations
🌱 Great connections
🌱 Our signature watercooler moment
And coffee on the house…
You’ll come away knowing where your focus is going, and what you’re building this year, in a way that fits your energy, how you want to show up, and your season of life... not someone else’s version of success.
Usually reserved for my Intentionally Aligned Business Audit clients, I’m taking you behind the scenes and showing you how to start 2026 as you mean to go on and create real momentum that lasts – without losing yourself in the process.
Consider it your intentional kick-start to your 2026… surrounded by other women who want to grow their businesses in a way that feels good this year too.

🎄 This time of year is about celebration and connection, and when it comes to business, appreciating all of our efforts and acknowledging just how far we’ve come these past 12 months.
And so, before you sip the mulled wine, dive into the mice pies, and the Christmas chaos officially begins… I just want to say thank you. 🩷
Thank you for being here.
For following me, for opening my emails, for listening to the podcast, for attending my networking events, and for working with me – even when business felt messy, overwhelming or uncertain.
If this year has taught you anything, let it be this:
You don’t have to do business the hard way to make progress.
When you lean into doing things the way that feels right for you... when you lean into showing up in a way that feels right for you... when you offer the products and services that feel right for you... that’s when business becomes fun, easy and lighter.
And that’s when you create real momentum that lasts.
You’ve worked hard this year and I’m proud of you. Now, it’s time to rest. To enjoy the holiday season. To celebrate all you’ve accomplished. And to spend quality time with the ones you love.
Step away without guilt. Your business will still be there waiting for come January. And I’ll be here for you too.
Whatever you’re doing this Christmas, wherever you are, and however you’re spending it, I wish you a calm, cosy and happy one. 💛
With much love,
Sarah x
P.S. I don’t normally jump on the AI image bandwagon, but this one was too fun and festive not to create it! Have you tried this one yet?? 🎄🍭😉

Let’s talk about success… not the version you think you ‘should’ be aiming for, but the version you REALLY want. 🩷
The online business space is loud… Six-figure launches. £10k months. Hustle harder. Scale faster. etc. etc.
And if we’re not careful, we end up chasing someone else’s definition of success without even realising it.
The problem?
When you measure yourself against someone else’s yardstick, you’ll always feel like you’re falling short - even when you’re not.
There is no one-size-fits-all definition of success.
Success can look like:
💛 Flexible hours
💛 Aligned income
💛 Energy at the end of the day
💛 Being present for your family
💛 Building something that feels good, and sustainable
Success can mean whatever you want it to mean. It’s your definition. Your version. YOU get to choose.
My definition of success?
Having something that feels like mine, that I love to open up my laptop for each day, which gives me the time and financial freedom to create as many memories as possible with the ones I love… all whilst knowing I’m helping others make a difference in their lives too.
When your actions align with YOUR definition of success, business starts to feel fun, easy and fulfilling - and that’s when you start to create real momentum lasts.
As we head into 2026, this is your permission slip to stop chasing and start choosing.
Which will you choose… the version of success you think you ‘should’ be aiming for? Or the version you REALLY want? 🩷
Want help defining what success looks like for you - and building a business that supports it? Book yourself in for one of my Your Intentionally Aligned Business audits.
DM me now for more details – future you will be so glad you did!

Today is the last day of term for my boy… which means it’s my last day of work until January, and I’m so excited!! 🎉🤩
Come 12.45pm, I’ll be downing tools, switching off my laptop and closing my office door safe in the knowledge that I’m free to spend Christmas with my husband and boys without worrying about losing momentum in my business.
I know that whilst I’m off, my podcast episodes will continue to be published, my emails will continue to be sent, my IG posts will continue to be shared, my digital products will continue to sell and that clients will continue to book their business audits and Breakthrough Brew power hours for January… all without me having to be chained to my desk.
I’m sharing this not to be smug, but because it didn’t happen by accident.
For the last 5 years, I’ve been running my business to fit with Harrison’s school terms instead of the quarterly hustle, which means I’m free to step away during the holidays without worrying that everything will fall apart.
🎯 I’ve accomplished the goals I set myself this term - including hosting my first ever bundle!
👋🏻 I've welcomed new clients into my 1-1 Biz-Mentum strategy + accountability program.
💰 I’ve smashed my income goals.
🎧 And all of my content is created and scheduled until the end of January. 🎉
All because I’ve let Harrison’s school calendar and the life I’m building it all for be the compass that guides me. 🧭
Because momentum doesn’t come from never stopping. It comes from building a business that supports your life instead of one that fights with it. 🥰
If you’re a mum building your business in the margins of the school day and you want 2026 to feel calmer, clearer, and more intentional, my Term-Time Roadmap masterclass gives you everything you need to know.
And right now, for a limited time only, it’s yours for just £11.
Comment ROADMAP and I’ll send you the link right away. 📬
Here’s to thriving both at home and in your business – without feeling like you have to choose between the two.
Merry Christmas! 🎄😊

WOW, what a morning! 🤩
Yesterday was our last Bishop’s Stortford meetup for 2025 for my Thrive Collective networking group, and boy, did we make the most of it!
Nothing lights me up more than being surrounded by incredible women in business. And the way everyone supported one another, offering advice and encouragement during our signature watercooler moment today… that’s what Thrive is all about! 😍
It was so lovely to see familiar faces and meet some new ones too… Jo Higgs was our our amazing guest speaker, sharing all of your tips and strategies for making our brands stand out so that we can attract our dream clients.
I’m currently working behind the scenes giving my biz a bit of a brand refresh ready for the new year, so I can’t wait to implement everything she shared today – watch this space! 😉
Our final meetup for 2025 is happening next Thursday (20th) 10am-12pm at Zafferano Lounge, Saffron Walden where we’ll be joined by Becky Benfield-Humberstone who’ll be guiding us through creating our business vision for 2026 - without setbacks or self-doubt.
Want one more final Thrive fix before the year is out?
Let’s make these last few weeks count - go grab your ticket now, and I’ll see you there! 😄
