I've wanted an HAG for a long time, and now I have one. Their tools are quite simply the best; no compromise, top quality.

The first "proper" tool I bought for my tool kit was a hanger alignment gauge from Park and it's been an absolute workhorse - it's one of my most used tools. If your derailleur hanger isn't straight, you're never going to get smooth shifting, so it's one of the first things that gets checked on any bike coming through. However, the Park one has a lot of play in the head of it, and getting accurate measurements and adjustments is trickier. With 11/12/13 speed bikes now, if that hanger isn't aligned EXACTLY then shifting suffers.

The Abbey HAG has zero play in. None. The tolerances are so tight that the measurements it takes are spot on, and the handle is so rigid that it gives perfect results each time.

And it's green and has a funny name, which is cool.

This bike came in needing a firmware upgrade for the wireless shifters; while everything else on the bike can be updated wirelessly using the eTube app, ironically the wireless shifters need to be wired to a laptop using Shimano's diagnostic kit 🤷🏼‍♂️

No sweat, we can do that for you, and run through setting up the system correctly.

Two bikes today both hadn't had the limits set by the shops they were bought from, so we've done it to make sure shifts are smooth and there's no chance of dropped chains

The SLT headset bearings are super smooth and dirt and grime simply can't get into them, so they'll last longer than any other bearing - useful if your bike has internal routing through the bearings, as you don't want to keep taking that apart every time you need to replace a bearing. And the Alpha bottom bracket is the peak of smooth, hard-wearing, minimal lost watts performance. Everything Ceramicspeed make is beautifully made and finished, despite you often not seeing it
