Members join Mike Perry for his two Sunday online classes - Secrets of the Boomerang, and the rock/roll exercises.
19th & 26th April 2026 - 10am -11.30am.
Prompted by a conversation during the Push Up focused classes last year, this workshops will aim to dissect the Boomerang, Open Leg Rocker, Seal and (if everyone’s in the mood) even the Crab. The Boomerang has long been my favourite exercise - for me it’s the most fun and I believe it’s accessible to a wider population than we might imagine…
We’ll explore the component parts - range of movement, control and psychological safety of each of the exercises, and use prep exercises and mobility drills (learned from Ido Portal and FRC particularly) to see what we may need more of.
It’s my hope that this will lead to greater freedom and self-efficacy in taking on these exercises, and more joy too.
Open to Members: £18 for 3 hours over two Sundays.

Members join Marguerite Galizia on 8th March at 10am for a one-hour class - Organising from the Breath
The body’s inherent asymmetry has a particular impact on the breath. We have three lung lobes on the right and only two on the left, with asymmetries echoing down into the diaphragm’s crura and movement. This matwork session aims to reveal the subtle difference between left and right lung breathing as a means of unlocking better organisation at the core level of breath. This class is loosely based on the work of Ron Hruska (Postural Restoration Institute) and Pilates teachers Donna Parise Byrne & Dr Sarah Petrich (Re-Balance Pilates).
Marguerite Galizia is a dance artist-researcher and a Pilates teacher. Marguerite has been teaching Pilates matwork since 2007 and she completed her equipment apprenticeship in 2016. Marguerite combines a detailed teaching approach with a genuine love for movement. Her work is informed by her own ongoing training in somatic movement practices.

Join James Earls on this one-day immersive in-person workshop on Saturday, 16/05/26 in Bristol 10am-4.30pm // Open to All // Designed for movement therapists who want to refine their understanding of how the human body truly moves.
Understanding the Anatomy of Movement bridges anatomical knowledge with practical movement observation, helping you develop a clearer, more accurate lens for assessing and guiding movement in your clients.
Participants will explore the overall structural blueprint of the human body and how form supports function. You’ll learn to use precise anatomical and biomechanical terminology to describe movement with confidence and clarity, enhancing both professional communication and clinical reasoning. The workshop also examines how muscles and fascia work cooperatively during different types of actions, highlighting coordinated patterns rather than isolated parts.
This is the workshop that we all should have had at the start of our training journey. // Limited places // Don’t miss out. // See the link in our bio to book.

Join Mike Perry for his two Sunday online classes - Push Ups for Christmas
The Push Up is the final exercise in Return to Life and, as an expression of peak strength, mobility and stability, it makes a wonderful and natural conclusion to any class. However, we know that it’s an extremely challenging movement for many people.
The Push Up Masterclass will examine the common obstacles to performing the Push Up. As well as exploring the Push-Ups relationship to the preceding classical exercises, we will also address the common obstacles with a variety of drills and prep exercises that will be applicable to all levels and progressions. These will span those three components of strength, mobility and stability. You will be invited to think differently about this exercise, and you will learn tools and strategies to help you and your clients get closer to mastery.
Open to Members and Trainees, £18 for 3 hours over two Sundays.
Sunday 16th and Sunday 30th of November, 9.30am - 11am.

📚✨ Pilates Foundation Book Club ✨📚
This Month’s Read: How We Walk by Matthew Beaumont
This bold, thought-provoking work invites us to consider how walking, movement, and posture are shaped by our history, social and political experiences.
As Pilates lovers, we’re always thinking about the body — alignment, awareness, and presence. Beaumont’s book challenges us to think about movement in a broader cultural and political context. What does it mean to walk with intention? How is the act of moving through the world never neutral?
Let’s bring our embodied practice to the page and explore how our physical selves are connected to the stories we carry.
🗓️Discussion Date: Wednesday 24th September 8-9pm
📍Location: Online
📖 Grab a copy, start reading, and prepare to move — mind and body. See our bio to view our website // sign up for FREE // to purchase the book.
