Following our successful recent tour of Pakistan, we are delighted to be featured in Wisden and on the ECB website.
Essex club Wanstead & Snaresbrook takes great satisfaction from its multiculturalism, charitable fundraising and broadening the horizons of its members.
Following the season they toured Pakistan as a means to further understand how the club can be more inclusive - with some cricket and sight-seeing along the way.

We are delighted to announce the signing of seamer Mehran Sanwal for 2026. Mehram has a fine UK premiership record, and has 50+ first class wickets for Bahawalpur. We look forward very much to welcoming him to Overton in the Spring.

Congratulations to Mehran Sanwal on signing with Wanstead Cricket Club Cricket Club for the 2026 Essex League campaign.
Following an impressive debut season with Penzance, where he narrowly missed out on being crowned a National Champion, the seamer will make Wanstead his new home and look to make an immediate impact with the ball next summer.

The final weekend of the season is upon us, and we have two huge first XI games. Saturday takes us to Hornchurch when we face Brentwood in the Essex League Cup final, a trophy we hold from last year.
After some recent brilliant performances in earlier rounds, Sunday sees us in the National T20 final for the first time! We face New Farnley CC from the Bradford League. The game is at the marvellous Wormsley ground, and starts at 2.45.
