🇨🇦⛳ The Canadian Rockies Tour is underway!

What a way to kick things off!

Our opening round was played on the breathtaking Chateau Whistler Golf Club, where stunning mountain scenery was matched by a course that demanded accuracy at every turn.

The traditional Boys v Girls match provided plenty of laughs, banter and competitive spirit… with the boys just coming out on top this time! 🏆😉

After a fantastic day’s golf, everyone enjoyed a wonderful evening together at The Wildflower before getting ready for the next challenge.

No time to put the clubs away though… today we’re off to another bucket-list venue as we take on the magnificent Nicklaus North.

This weekend, Fairways Mixed Golf embarks on one of the biggest and most spectacular tours we’ve ever hosted.

Over almost five incredible weeks, we’ll be taking two groups on an unforgettable journey through one of the most breathtaking destinations on Earth.

Our adventure begins in the vibrant city of Vancouver, before travelling to the world-famous mountain resort of Whistler. We’ll then cross to beautiful Vancouver Island, before flying into Calgary and finishing amongst the iconic scenery of Banff and the magnificent Canadian Rockies.

Along the way, our guests will experience:

What a finish to the Fairways Norfolk Links Mixed Pairs! 🏆⛳

The spectacular links of Hunstanton provided a true championship test on Day 2, with cooler conditions, a fresh breeze and firm, fast fairways ensuring every shot counted.

The battle for the daily honours went right to the wire, with three couples tied on the best score of the day. After countback, first place went to John & Carole Hatt following a superb performance.

But once again, one pair rose above the rest.

Having lit up Sheringham with a magnificent 45 points on Day 1, John & Jan Gilkes refused to let their lead slip. Another outstanding round of 39 points was enough to complete a brilliant wire-to-wire victory and deservedly lift the Fairways Norfolk Links Mixed Pairs title.

A huge congratulations to John & Jan Gilkes, our 2026 Norfolk Links Mixed Pairs Champions, and a big thank you to everyone who joined us for another fantastic Fairways event. We can’t wait to do it all again next year!

Day 1 of the Norfolk Links Mixed Pairs is in the books, and what a day it was at the magnificent Sheringham Golf Club.

Played in glorious sunshine on a firm and fast-running links, scoring was impressive across the board, leaving the leaderboard incredibly tight heading into the final round.

Leading the way with a superb 45 points are John & Jan Gilkes from West Hill 👏🏻👏🏻

But with just a handful of points covering the leading couples, everything is still to play for as we head a little further along the coast today to the iconic Hunstanton Golf Club.

🏆 HISTORY MADE IN THE SWISS ALPS 🇨🇭⛳

What an unforgettable week it has been.

Against the breathtaking backdrop of the Swiss Alps, another Fairways Mixed Golf adventure has come to an end, filled with spectacular golf, wonderful friendships, plenty of laughter and memories that will last a lifetime.

Firstly, our sincere thanks to the entire team at the magnificent Crans Ambassador Hotel. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, their hospitality was simply outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble, and together with the stunning mountain setting, they helped create a truly special week.

The world-famous Ballesteros and Nicklaus courses showed theirselves off under glorious blue skies, provided the perfect stage for some exceptional golf.

But this week belonged to one very special couple from Cornwall.

John & Shirley Nichols have achieved something quite remarkable.

As far as we know, they are now the longest-serving Fairways Mixed Golf couple, celebrating an incredible 30 years of Fairways holidays with us this year.

And what a way to mark the occasion.

After many years without lifting a trophy, they turned back the clock and produced golf of the very highest quality. Leading from the very first round and never looking back, they posted outstanding scores of 40, 46 and 45 points to win the Swiss Mixed Pairs Championship in style.

Thirty years of friendship, thirty years of loyalty, thirty years of unforgettable holidays… and now another title to add to the collection.

John & Shirley, we couldn’t be more delighted for you both. You epitomise everything that Fairways Mixed Golf is about, and we know everyone on this trip was thrilled to see you crowned worthy champions.
