A huge thank you to the 32 volunteers who joined us last week! We managed to collect 44 bags of rubbish which is approx. 360 kilo’s in total.

As well as clearing the canals by canoe, we also have a dedicated team of volunteers who walk along the towpaths and pick litter from the banks.

We won another award! 🏆🎉

We were awarded with winner of the “Outstanding contribution by a Community Champion delivering Environmental projects” category at the first-ever G15 Community Impact Awards.

The work we do with our volunteers is so important to our local environment and it’s always so wonderful to be recognised for it.

Keep an eye out for us getting back to business when the weather warms up!

We won an award!

Lower Regents Coalition have won an award at the Social Value Leadership Group Awards. The Social Value Group look to recognise and award companies that deliver Social Value. Mainly contractors who work in the housing sector who spend money on improving communities. There was a category for Best Social Value Ally, and we won!

Our work over the last 2 months has halted due to the loss of our tools and equipment after a break-in at our lock up. We are currently raising money to replace everything so we can get back to our important work in the new year. The link to our Just Giving is in the link in our bio. We are just heart broken that all our equipment has been stolen or destroyed. It has meant that we have had to call off our events until the new year. Please share and donate what you can so we can continue to work along the canal.

Last week we planted over 800 bulbs along the canal, we can’t wait to see them bloom next spring. We also managed to clear some litter from the paths too. Thankyou to our wonderful volunteers who turned up on a grey and cloudy day to literally get their hands dirty!
