As Xmas creeps a little closer and to get outside for a walk becomes a little tougher it’s still important to take a breath. Xmas season can be tough for some for various reasons but we’re huge fans of stepping outside, breath in the air and cold breeze, to help calm the mind a little.

Today is World Mental Health Day, a day to raise awareness of and talk about mental health issues, and advocate for better mental health for everyone.
Each of us started walking as a way to improve our own mental health. Then one day we went on a walk together, and, three years later, here we are to talk about it openly, share our stories and hopefully help people along the way.
So, if you do anything today, go for a walk. Take a breath, pause, look around you. It might just help a little bit. There are so many amazing people like or out there able to help if you need a helping hand.

We’re back after a much-deserved break and just in time for the little one’s favourite walking season. The air is getting fresher, the trees more colourful, and spooky season is around the corner. What’s your favourite season for a hike?

We couldn’t be prouder of what we did just a month ago. Thank you so much for all the messages of support in the buildup, during and after.
So far we’ve raised a massive £2050 for by walking 125km in 5 days along part of the .
The link to our justgiving will remain active for a little while longer should you want to add to amazing amount. For now we’ll be having a little rest and reflection before we plot our next adventure.

This. Is. Amazing. 🎉
Thank you to everyone who’s helped us raise £2000 for CALM so far. We’re both genuinely very grateful for all of the support these last few weeks. For something we thought up to put some good back into the world it’s amazing to be making such a difference to those who may need it.
There’s still plenty of time to help us raise even more if you want to. Link in bio or visit our JustGiving at https://justgiving.com/page/htoswalkforcalm to donate.

Just over 2 weeks ago we’d smashed through our first day walking for and followed the River Itchen from Southampton to Itchen Abbas.
Apparently Otters were reintroduced to the river in the 1990s, which reminds us of a joke about otters and beavers… it’s better in person but you’re Itchen to know more right?

Who’d have thought a week ago we’d just be finishing walking part of the and arriving into Reigate are starting our journey in Southampton?!
We’re also blown away that an idea to help us regain our focus after last year has helped raise around £2000 for to help them support others that need it.
We’re so thankful for all the donations and wish we could hug you all.
Still time to add to our total if you can and want to.

Mind blowing we actually walked from Southampton to this point already?! Today we climb Boxhill and Reigate Hill continuing to our end point in Reigate. And maybe some beers and tears.
As always stay tuned for updates on how we’re progressing and head to our if you’d like to know more or to support us in any way, link in bio and below.

We’re not going to lie, Day Four was hard. Lots of hills, lots of sun, and lots of pain in our feet. However, no diversions or misreading of maps, so came in at 24.3km. Tomorrow’s 12.6km should be easy, right?

Day four and after yesterday this should be a breeze right? Apart from a couple of massive hills to get up and 24km to do. The finish line of 125km is almost in sight!
The next stage of our walk is Guildford to Westhumble (it’s a real place) via the stunning . As always stay tuned for updates on how we’re progressing and head to our if you’d like to know more or to support us in any way, link in bio and below.

That’s that the longest (and we hope hardest) day done. Thanks to an over-cautious tree surgeon, we ended up adding on a 1.5km diversion to end us off with 38.9km. We also sustained another injury in the form of a head wound resulting from a much too close encounter with a low-hanging tree branch (nothing to do with the aforementioned tree surgeon.)

The next stage of our walk is Alton and heading all the way to Guildford via from Farnham. Stay tuned for updates on how we’re progressing and head to our if you’d like to support us in any way, link in bio and below.
