How to Reset Your Fitness Routine
As summer begins to wind down, September can feel like the perfect opportunity for a fresh start. However, if your exercise routine has slipped during the holidays, getting back into fitness doesn’t mean you need to start working out every day suddenly.

Why Mobility Matters as You Get Older
As we get older, many of us start to notice little changes in the way our bodies move. Perhaps your hips feel a little stiffer in the morning, reaching overhead isn’t quite as comfortable as it used to be, or it simply takes you a little longer to get moving.
However, maintaining good mobility doesn’t mean spending hours stretching every day.

Why Balance Training Matters
Why balance training matters probably isn’t something most of us think about when planning our weekly workouts.
We think about getting stronger, improving our fitness, becoming more flexible, or perhaps losing a little weight. However, how often do you actually think about improving your balance?
Probably not very often.
The funny thing is, we use our balance constantly. Whether you’re walking upstairs, stepping off a kerb, getting dressed, reaching into a cupboard, or simply moving around your home, your body is constantly making tiny adjustments to keep you stable.
And, as we get older, maintaining that ability becomes increasingly important.
So, perhaps it’s time we gave balance training a little more attention.

Why Home Workouts Work
From training in studios, theatres, gyms, hotels, and filming fitness content, one thing i’ve learnt is that great workouts don’t depend on where you train. They depend on whether your routine fits your life at that moment.
In this week’s blog, I share why home workouts can be such a game-changer.

How Feeling Strong Changes Everything
After more than 20 years of training, performing, and working in fitness, one thing I’ve realised is that the reasons we train naturally change over time.
From confidence and posture to energy, movement, and staying independent as we get older, strength can genuinely change how you feel in everyday life.

When Something Doesn’t Feel Right
Have you ever started a workout and felt like something just wasn’t quite right? Maybe your energy is low, a movement feels off, or you can’t find your usual rhythm.
In this week’s blog, I share how I deal with those moments, and why the answer isn’t to push through or stop completely, but to adjust.

Training Around Injuries
Something I’ve had to learn a lot over the years is how to train around injuries and niggles, and honestly, I’ve learnt a lot of it the hard way.
In this week’s blog, I share a more personal take on how my approach to training has changed, especially as I’ve got older, and why doing less, but doing it smarter, has actually helped me stay more consistent.

The Biggest Workout Mistake
This week’s blog is a slightly more personal one. It’s based on something I see all the time: people trying to do too much too soon when starting a new routine.
I’ve shared what actually tends to work better in the long run, and how stripping things back can often lead to better results, more consistency, and a routine that really fits your life.
