Choose the course that’s suitable for you from:

🚲 Basic
You’ll learn the basics, build your skills and gain the confidence to be able to navigate around your local area.

🚘 🚲 Urban
You'll start in an off-road environment to refresh your cycling technique and develop new skills before moving on to practise on quiet roads.

🚴‍♀️ Advanced
Improve your performance when dealing with complex junctions, heavy traffic or cycling at night.

Bicycle maintenance classes

Courses take place at our workshop in Kennington and are currently subsidised for Lambeth and Westminster folk.

We regularly run two types of Maintenance courses:

🚲🔧 Basic Maintenance
Suppose you want to know how to keep a bike in good working order. Learn how to set up a bike to fit, fix a puncture, adjust brakes/ gears and lubricate your chain correctly. This course is for you.

🚴‍♀️🔧 🧰 Advanced Maintenance
Want to go into more depth and make more complex adjustments to your bike? This course provides more complex skills. Learn how to index gears, replace cables, a chain and bottom bracket...and more!

Dr Bike

At Dr Bike sessions, experienced mechanics check everything on your bike, from wheels, brakes, gears and tyre pressure to lights, racks, pedals, saddles and more.

Any minor adjustments we can make to the bike, we do there and then. Anything we can't fix on site we will let you know exactly what needs doing and a rough guide to what it should cost at a bike shop.

10am-12pm: learn to ride classes for 7-12 year olds

Zero Emissions Network Hackney Council

Enfield Council's Journeys and Places programme are offering FREE half term holiday cycle skills sessions for various age groups from Monday 17 February – Friday 21 February 2025.
