We at Marcianno ABC are deeply saddened by the passing of Ricky “The Hitman” Hatton at just 46 years old.

Ricky was more than a world champion, he was a hero to the working-class, a proud Mancunian and one of the most beloved fighters British boxing has ever known.

His unforgettable victory over Kostya Tszyu, his relentless spirit in the ring and his openness in sharing life’s struggles made him a true champion both inside and outside the ring.

He inspired countless fans, not only with his skill and heart but also with his honesty, humility and courage.

Ricky brought people together from Manchester to Las Vegas and his legacy will endure through the many lives he touched.

From all of us at Marcianno ABC, thank you Ricky for the fights, the laughter and the inspiration.
