Join Our Team as Head of Junior Cricket Coaching

A fantastic opportunity to develop junior cricketers and shape the future of our club.

OD CUACO Cricket Club are looking for an inspirational coach and leader to take our thriving junior section to the next level.

This is your chance to make a lasting impact: to develop talent and inspire the next generation of players, while working at a progressive and welcoming club with developing facilities. We are a community-based club in the heart of Beckenham seeking to develop opportunities for everyone to play cricket. We currently have over 150 junior members and are looking to expand this further.

-What You’ll Do-

•Manage, lead, instruct, develop and set programmes for a group of coaches to deliver a high-quality coaching programme for juniors aged 6 +.
∙Work with the Chairman of Junior Cricket and the rest of the committee to create a year-round programme (starting with winter nets in January 2026).
∙Develop a complete pathway from junior cricket through to senior cricket.
∙Forge strong links with local schools, clubs, and community groups to grow participation.
∙Develop our girls section.
∙Be a role model for players and coaches, inspiring players of all ages to love the game.
∙Run the midweek evening winter nets, summer coaching on Sunday morning and one midweek evening.

-What We’re Looking For-

∙Ideally ECB Level 3 but ECB Level 2 (Core Coach) as a minimum.
∙Complete required safeguarding training and hold a valid DBS certificate.
∙Experience coaching young people with a proven track record of inspiring players.
∙Strong technical coaching skills, great communication, and a positive, inclusive approach.
