We're the Ultimate Frisbee team at University of the Arts London. The club is open to anyone interested in learning to play this rapidly growing sport, and we'd love you to join us at one of our training sessions during term time. Read on to find out more about our sport and our club.
== About the Sport ==
Ultimate is a sport played with a flying disk. Ultimate matches have two teams, each starti
ng in their own endzone. To score a point, teams must pass the disk and catch it in the opposing teams endzone. What sets us aside from other sports, is that Ultimate is self-refereed. Play is paused when a player thinks a rule has been infringed and players decide what to do next. It makes for a more sociable game and promotes good sportsmanship. == About the Club ==
We train in the lovely Regents Park every Sunday, with indoor training sessions every Thursdays in Vauxhall. We play against other London Ultimate teams during the BUCS League season on Wednesday afternoons, and we travel the country to play in tournaments over various weekends throughout the year. And most importantly, we join the rest of UAL Sports for the weekly sports social on Wednesday night, as well as our own UTA socials every so often. It's a great way of bonding with your team and meeting people from other sports at UAL!
