Great to see so many ICC riders out this weekend for the Dunwich Dynamo. Chris, Colin, Dave and Mike are riding there and back as part of their training for the 1600km London-Edinburgh-London audax, and they’ll be proudly wearing their new ICC x LEL x Spinal Research jerseys.

Now open to non-members! We have a few spaces remaining for our upcoming New Forest weekend. Rides will be self-supported and there will be a range of road and gravel routes to choose from each day. Price includes accommodation, two dinners, two breakfasts and evening socials with a bunch of fellow cyclists.

Islington Cycling Club is a friendly local club offering cycle sport for all. We formed in 2013 and have quickly attracted more than 550 members. We offer a wide range of rides, including nine weekly club rides, training rides and several club and open events. We use an internet forum as a virtual clubhouse to organise ourselves as this allows all members to help shape our club. Our focus is road cycling, but there is also growing participation for cyclo-cross and track. If there is another kind of cycling you want, members can get on our forum and set it up. Riding with a cycling club can seem daunting at first, so we ask all new and prospective members to attend one of our monthly introductory rides. These are short club rides in which we look at things like what to carry with you, how to ride in group formations and what are those hand signals? Then we head off and do an easy-paced ride and have a practice, followed by a cafe stop. Islington Cycling Club is affiliated to British Cycling and is a Go-Ride club, so we offer some coaching for juniors. More info here - http://www.islington.cc
