Alma returns from 15–18 October 2026 with four days of Tango in London: world-class Argentine maestros, celebrated guest artists, live music with Sonder Tango Orchestra, international DJs, workshops, milongas, performances and a brand-new riverside venue in Pimlico, Westminster.

to Alma de Tango Festival London 2026 🇬🇧

Originally from Malaysia and based in Manchester, John is a traditional tango DJ deeply devoted to the music of the Golden Age. Since 2010, he has brought his musical storytelling to marathons, festivals, and encuentros across the UK and Europe.

A passionate milonguero and self-confessed tango music addict, John crafts his sets with one purpose above all:
✨ to serve the dancers.

His musical journeys are rooted in the richness of La Época de Oro, occasionally coloured by the raw spirit of La Guardia Vieja and the elegance of La Nueva Guardia. Every tanda is built from the energy of the floor, creating an atmosphere full of connection, flow, and emotion.

Before registration opens to the wider tango community, Priority List members will receive the private booking link and first access to a limited Super Early Bird allocation.

This is the first opportunity to book at the lowest available price.

Alma returns for its second edition from 15–18 October 2026, bringing together world-class maestros, live music, DJs, workshops, milongas, performances and the spirit of Buenos Aires in the heart of London.

Capacity is limited to 200 dancers per night, and passes will be released in stages.

to Alma de Tango Festival London 2026 🇬🇧

Born in Buenos Aires, Juan’s love for tango began at a very young age while traveling across the “100 barrios porteños” with his father, listening to legendary tango radio stations and iconic voices such as Héctor Larrea and Antonio Carrizo.

With a background in Theatre and Circus Arts in both Buenos Aires and the U.K., his musical sets are known for their dramatic storytelling, playfulness, intensity, and emotional depth.

A regular visitor to Buenos Aires and currently studying Tango at the University of Buenos Aires, Juan brings to the dance floor a beautiful blend of tradition, culture, and theatrical sensitivity.

✨ Expect unforgettable tandas and a truly immersive musical journey.
