Join us at Morden Recreation Ground from 6.30pm-7.30pm every Tuesday for training, with the season getting started in September!

We are all abilities and aim to teach with positive feedback, encouraging teamwork and bonding within our teams. We have an amazing group of girls already working hard for next season and we’re looking for a couple more to add to our squads!

Our club need your help!

Our funding is due to be approved for 75% of the costs for winter floodlights and storage to ensure we can continue training at our home ground throughout winter.

As a startup club, we just don’t have the funds necessary to train on 3G pitches throughout the winter due to the pitch hire involved, meaning we will have to continue using our grass pitch from October-March. These months get extremely dark in the winter very early and it means we will have nowhere to train where we can see! This funding is crucial for us to continue developing our players and to achieve the aims we have planned for our future.

We need to provide the remaining 25% of the costs to complete the sale, so we are asking for help for us to meet our target!

🚨 EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

We are excited to announce that Emerald Eagles are growing AGAIN!

To ensure the continued development of our youth program and offer young girls the opportunity to play football after the high school years, our committee have made the important decision to build a competitive team for the 27/28 season to be entered into the Women’s pyramid in tier 7!

Open trials will be held in early 2027 for players aged 16+ and will officially bridge the gap between youth and senior players within our club!

This is a huge opportunity for us as a small club, and we are super excited for what this means for our future!

Our senior recreational teams will be unaffected by this change, and we will continue to remain within the Surrey Flexi league with our primary focus being to ensure women of all ages and abilities have the opportunity to play football no matter their experience!

Our ethos as a club will also remain unchanged, ensuring all players are treated with dignity and respect and developing all teams with positivity and integrity.

If you love all things football and are looking for a chance to become more involved with a local club, but playing the game isn’t quite what you had in mind, then get in touch!

Our club has evolved from a small team looking to play football to a community that are in a position to offer opportunities for anyone wanting to be involved in grassroots football!

We are so proud of the trajectory of our club so far and the progress of each of our players and we are even more proud that we can now begin to offer more extensive opportunities within a small club setting to give anyone the chance to build a volunteering portfolio in grassroots football!
