These are some of the things we experienced as women in generic gyms 👇

1️⃣ Being stared at mid-set
2️⃣ Having absolutely no idea what we were supposed to be doing
3️⃣ Feeling too embarrassed to ask for help and ending up injured
4️⃣ Avoiding certain areas because they felt intimidating
5️⃣ Feeling rushed or judged for taking up space

Comment the number you relate to most 👇

Or tell us the pet peeve we’ve missed - we know there’s more 💗

So many women come to us saying the same thing:
“I just want to lose X amount of weight.”

But when we slow the conversation down and ask why, there’s almost always a deeper story underneath.

Sometimes it’s about fertility.

Sometimes it’s about being told they need to change their body before being “allowed” medical treatment.

Sometimes it’s about fear, hope, or trying to regain control during an incredibly hard chapter.

The number is rarely the real goal.

Behind it is a woman carrying a lot more than she gives herself credit for and doing the best she can with the information she’s been given.

QUESTION: Do you have a goal weight, and if so, have you ever thought about what the reason behind that is? It’s okay if you’re not sure... Our DM’s are always open if you have any questions

We’re not training for a “before and after.”

We’re training for independence, bone strength, and being able to get off the floor without help at 80 🦴

What’s ONE thing you do now that you know your future body will thank you for?

Lifting weights? Prioritising rest? Let’s compare notes 📝

Everyone deserves to get strong in a space where they feel safe, respected, and supported, including trans and non-binary people 🏳️‍🌈

StrongHer has always been about creating a gym environment that’s welcoming, inclusive, and free from judgement. A place where you don’t have to explain yourself, shrink yourself, or brace yourself just to train. 💗

Movement should feel empowering - not intimidating.

And community should feel like belonging, not something you have to earn ✨

What would you like to see more of in fitness spaces, to make you feel safer?

So many women think they’re the problem when they can’t stay consistent... 👇🏾

But most of the time, they were just dropped into an environment that didn’t teach them how to train properly or support them while they learned.

When you’re coached, guided, and given a clear structure, everything changes.

Confidence builds. Energy improves. And showing up stops feeling like a battle.

Strength isn’t about pushing harder, but, it’s about being shown how to do things in a way that works for you.

There’s more to life then losing weight...

Strength is being able to play with your grandchildren on the floor and get back up without thinking twice.

It’s independence, longevity, and protecting your body so it carries you through life - not just so it looks good.

When you think about how you want to be remembered, what actually matters to you now?
