Hello. I am Igor (), 35 years old. Recently, I got into track and field athletics, but it was not so easy to run with obesity, and I reached out to David.
David helped to correctly calculate the calorie requirements, assigned personal nutrition plan for rest and training day. In four months, I improved my 5k performance from 5:06/km to 4:29/km.
I lost 10 kg and changed T-shirt from XL to L, which gave me confidence. I consider it a good result.
David also told how to proceed further in order to keep the weight and not crave for unhealthy foods. I really liked the delicious and easy-to-cook recipes from David π

Our motto with this weekly posts is to keep you guys informed what is currently going on with Foody U and bring news updates on development stage.
What have we done this week?
β€ Parsers and normalisers
Before we proceed to develop the user experience that will be visible to you guys, we need to build internal tool for our service first. We started to teach Foody U how to extract information, what each symbol means and how to elaborate it.
β€ Algorithm testing
This is the brain of Foody U β his knowledge and logic. When you enter your activity type, duration and intensity, Foody U has to understand what to do with the information and what to tell to the user. This is the crucial part, as it will be the identity and what will make Foody U himself!
First building blocks are in place. It will only get more exiting from here. Stay tuned!

Foody U is an app that is being build by a nutritionist to make it easier for users to receive personal meal plans. Algorithm based service will reduce waiting time to receive meal plan to seconds.
This week has been hectic and we faced some obstacles. However, few very important tasks have been done.
Over 50 tasty easy-to-cook recipes have been tested and are now added to the database.
Every user will receive personal pre- and post-workout meals, based on their type of sport and kcal requirements to satisfy recovery and progress.
Slowly but steady the progress is building up to what will make Foody U loved by our users. Can't wait to tell you more!

This week we dedicated to the future vision of Foody U in both, technical and vision aspects.
Now Foody U can learn unlimited amount of new recipes and pull individual meals from the database. We made sure that with improvement of Foody U's best qualities he can swiftly adjust his knowledge (aka database). We can add, change, delete and relocate any entry.
I will be honest, delivering brand identity to audience is one of my weakest skills. People find it hard to constantly identify themselves with with what I write. My content and conceptual vision of Foody needs to be precisely defined. Therefore, I work closely with product manager to help me to develop brand identity.
This is exiting times for me and Foody U that will consolidate it's trajectory of growth.

The more I coach people, the more I understand the importance of healthy relationship with athletes / clients.
You could be the best coach and the most competent guy in town, but if you can't find mutual understanding with your clients, it is only a matter of time when they leave you. I have been there both: as a client and as a coach.

To keep yourself of the macro counting 24/7, it is important to have a skill to estimate how much kcal, protein, carbs and fats you consume daily.
I like making these kind of infographics because they stick to your memory vividly and the next time you are ordering food at the restaurant or shopping for groceries you won't need to pull out your phone and google the macros of foods you want to eat.
