We’ve been listening. 👂
Building Dad Jab has always been about one thing: helping you bond with your children through boxing.
But recently, you guys told us that sometimes, the barrier to entry felt a little too high. You didn’t always have the pads ready. You didn’t know where to start.
So, we went back to the drawing board. 📝
We are currently completely redesigning the Home Screen to make starting easier than ever.
I can’t show you the full design just yet, but let’s just say:
🚫 No pads required.
🎮 A new gamified journey.
🏆 A clear path from Rookie to Champion.
The update is dropping soon. Get ready to turn your living room into a gym, zero equipment needed.
Keep your eyes peeled. Big changes are coming. 👀

Week done. Laptop shut. Gloves on. 🥊
The transition from “Work Mode” to “Dad Mode” can be tough.
Sometimes the best way to shake off the office stress isn’t sitting on the sofa—it’s 15 minutes of moving around with the kids.
They get to punch the pads (and you), you get to clear your head, and everyone sleeps better tonight.
Who’s holding the pads this weekend?

What a start to 2026! 🚀
It’s been a whirlwind week for Dad Jab. We were just featured in Teddington & Twickenham Nub News, and I’m blown away to say we now have 59 local families signed up and training together!
I’ve set a goal to find 100 “Founding Families” to join the app this January.

The secret is out. 🗞️
Massive thank you to for breaking the story on Dad Jab today.
We’ve been working quietly in the background with 40+ local families to test a simple idea: Can we get kids off iPads and build confidence through boxing?
The answer is a huge YES.
If you saw the article and you’re ready to start training with your Children—welcome to the team. 🥊

The press have the story. 🗞️
I’m not allowed to share the headline until the embargo lifts.

The chaos is officially here 🎄🎅
We’ve thrown enough punches for one week. Tonight, the only job is to be there with them (and maybe sneak a mince pie or two). To the Dad Jab families—have a brilliant Christmas, soak up the madness, and we’ll see you on the other side 🥊

I realised a lot of you have seen the leaflets around Twickenham...but don’t actually know the face behind the pads.
So here’s the proper introduction 👇
I’m Jack, Local dad. Local volunteer Children’s boxing coach. Builder of Dad Jab.
👨👦 THE DAD SIDE
My son is 10 months old.
Right now? All giggles and grabby hands.
But I’m already thinking ahead to the day he’s old enough to ask for the iPad every five minutes. To the day I need something we can do together that isn’t just sitting side by side staring at screens. I want us to have a ritual. Something physical. Something that builds him up. That’s why I built this app.
Not just for me and my Son-but for every Parent who wants that same connection.
🎓 Education background
This isn’t just random “rough and tumble.”
I have a degree in Science & Strength and Conditioning, I’m a former amateur boxer and I’ve spent years learning how to teach boxing safely, how to build confidence through discipline, and how to make training fun for young people.
Dad Jab is the blend of all that experience with fatherhood. Every drill is structured. Every lesson is age-appropriate.
Every punch is taught properly.
🥊 THE COMMUNITY SIDE
Every Monday night, I volunteer to coach kids locally. I’ve seen firsthand what boxing does for young people. The way it straightens their posture. Sharpens their focus. Gives them something to be proud of.
That’s what I want for your kids too.
We’re a small tribe right now.
26 local families testing this out together.
But we’re growing. And I’d love for you to be part of it.

Let’s build confidence, one jab at a time.
