We are so proud to introduce one of our ambassadors Carole James from Corby in Northamptonshire. Carol’s day job is working in accounts and her participation in sport activities inspires many.

Carol’s introduction to para sport was some time ago mainly seeing the small amount of para sports that was on the TV. In 2007 she was involved in a car accident that caused her condition Complex Regional pain syndrome and gradually became a full-time wheelchair user. Prior to this she was involved in the Air Training corps so did a lot of outdoor activities which she had to give up due to her condition.

2012 and the London Paralympics was her first experience of parasport while being disabled.
She now enjoys sport activities in her club with various activities. “I enjoyed archery and went along to my local archery club as I was treated as an equal” Carol
