During the womens test match at lords, 3 individuals who are closely linked to the league played some important roles.
Jane (Scorers Officer), Gabi (Panel Umpire), and Helen (Former Long Format Rep) were all involved in the historic event, championing womenβs cricket and representing the East Midlands in the process!

Weβd like to take a moment to shine a line on our amazing league administrator, Cate Hayes.
Yesterday, Cate was at Edgbaston for the England and Wales Cricket Board AGM where she was presented with an Honorary Life Vice-President Award for devoting more than 20 years to creating one of the most inclusive and successful junior and womenβs cricket programmes in Nottinghamshire!
Congratulations Cate, this is so well deserved and we are incredibly lucky to have someone like you in the East Midlands π«Άπ
