Funny how dogs and Canicross lead to all sorts of connections! 🐾💪

A little while ago I met gorgeous Elmo and his human, Mark, for a Tails & Trails Canicross session and got Elmo fitted with his Canicross harness. 🐕💨

A week later, the tables turned and I went to see Mark at MSF Fitness⁠ for some help with me! 😂

We worked through some strength exercises to help with my plantar fasciitis and support my return to running. 💪

One of the things I love about running a small local business is the connections you make along the way. 💜

I helped Mark & Elmo with their Canicross… then Mark helped me get back to mine! 🐾

School’s back… and we’re back in the woods. 🌲🐾

After the back-to-school chaos, it was lovely to take some time out with Skye today and just explore.

No agenda. No rushing. Just us, the woods and a few trails to check out. 🐕💚

And of course, I couldn’t resist having a little look at the trails with the new Canicross season in mind… 👀🏃‍♀️

There’s something about being back in the woods at this time of year that makes me excited for what’s ahead.

New season. New trails. New adventures. 🐾

Sunday’s social run finished with the perfect reward — a coffee pit stop with the Tails & Trails crew! 🐕🏃‍♀️

I love that our social runs aren’t just about getting out and running with our dogs. They’re about community, friendships, plenty of laughs and making a morning of it. ❤️

And of course… no Sunday adventure is complete without coffee! ☕️
