A huge thankyou to Clifton wasps for hosting the jags tonight at Stanley park! Dipping our toe into 7aside and the boys really taking to the bigger pitch!

A real Competitive game that was full of good football, hard work and the boys trusting each other on and off the ball!

Every player contributing to a very good all round performance.

Thanks again wasps! ⚽️⚽️🔥🔥

This morning we made the short trip to sea field Road to take on our neighbours in YMCA oranges.

The game started a real even affair staying goal less for the first 10/15mins. Both teams getting a feel for the pitch and settling into their playing styles.

The jags stuck to their football and impressed the parents watching over from the side. Using the width of the pitch and trusting each other in tight spaces and tricky situations!

The most impressive was the attitudes they played with, sticking to the task and encouraging their team to finish strong right to the final whistle.

Players of the match today!

Henry- a rock at the back and finding some very clever forward passes!

Franklin- for his heart in battle today and 2 fantastically struck finishes!

Thankyou to YMCA Oranges for hosting us this morning, good luck for the season! ⚽️⚽️🔥🔥

This morning we welcomed Freckleton Typhoons to parkveiw! The weather took a turn for the better and the game was played in the sunshine!

Both teams playing with great sportsmanship! A tasty affair with both teams competing to win the ball back but anytime someone came out worse off both teams were quick to ensure their opposition was ok!!👌

Goals at both ends but some very impressive minimal touch football from the Jags. Players winning their individual battles on the pitch and making smart decisions!

What a team!

Player of the match was Jack! Tenacious as always and hungry to win the ball back for his team mates!

First day of the season!

Started with a respectful minute applause to remember a fantastic member of the grassroots community in Andy from Kirkham juniors!

The jags started the game fast with a smart press from the off, winning the ball high and starting attacks.

After a busy preseason the boys took all the coaching points from past sessions and implemented them impeccably! Scoring at least 3 team goals that started with the keeper, worked through the whole team and ended in a goal! The type of football as coaches we love to see these young superstars playing!

With Carter on Blackpool duties today, we need to throw a big thankyou to Jack and Alvie for halving the gk responsibility today! And doing it with confidence and bravery!

Our player of the match today goes to Hendawg, a solid performance at the back and added the skill of playing passes through the lines to find a team mate in dangerous areas!

What a way to start the season Jags!! ⚽️⚽️🔥🔥
