At MK Fitness we focus on what we can do and how we feel, rather than how we look. Our mindset is a I specialise in mobility training as I believe this should the core of anyone's fitness from a complete beginner to an athlete.
You can never over do mobility training and with our current day to day lifestyle feeling "old", getting aches and pains is seen as normal but it doesn't have to be when adding in mobility training in your life each day. If we learn to move well we will do any activity better. I am FRC, FMS and Animal Flow qualified. I believe knowledge is extremely powerful and I love educating and sharing what I know in order to get client to the best version of themselves.

What is Animal Flow? Here is an example of a flow you could learn in just one lesson. A flow can be short (15secs) or long (1 minute) but we learn each move and build on it until we run through it all at the end and complete on both sides.
It's not about memory (as I will call all the movements out 😉) its about having fun and improving your strength and mobility 😍 so come along and learn to control your body.

Description of classes:
Animals Flow: Animal Flow is a ground based movement, made fun, challenging and effective. This system is designed to improve strength power, flexibility, mobility, and coordination for all levels of fitness enthusiasts — all without any fitness equipment. BEGINNERS classes are designed so that you can jump right in and learn as you go.
Fusion: Fusing two or more types of exercises together these classes will make you work twice as hard. The combinations of different fitness classes means you get double the benefits, anywhere from balance, co- ordination, strength, endurance, mobility and flexibility. You will receive a well-rounded full body session and improve all of you by fusion’s combinatory nature. By attending a smaller group training you will receive constant feedback and guidance making the class more personal and a safe environment.
It's true right! yet we are all guilty of giving up too quickly when we don't get something first time or even just a few times after. If you keep trying you're learn to walk too in any exercise you want to improve at. Stay focus, believe in yourself and practice, practice, practice!

Breathing. We can't live without it but are you breathing to your best potential? especially during exercise?
Lets talk about nasal breathing and its benefits;
- Filters, warms and humidify air before it is drawn into the lungs.
- Reduces the heart rate.
- Brings nitric oxide into the lungs to open airways and blood vessels.
- Better oxygen delivery throughout the body.
- Reduces lactic acid as more oxygen is delivered to working muscles.
- Fantastic way to monitor if you are working too hard or going too fast as you won't be able to sustain your pace while breathing exclusively through your nose. This way you will know when to ease off or speed up.
Now some people will think this is completely normal but for most breathing through our nose when we inhale and exhale just doesn't feel normal but it is extremely beneficial. At first breathing through the nose will feel strange and your performance may even dip during exercise and you will get hungry for air and want to breath through the mouth. This is normal and the transition takes time. Be patient and remember you are retraining to breath differently so of course it will take time but after a few weeks you will notice the benefits for good health and improving sports performance.

Coming from someone who has needed an inhaler during exercise I now no longer need after using the techniques in this book! The research is all scientific you won't be disappointed.
