Exciting day for many of our club members today. Ben Eaton-Price is taking part in Ironman Barcelona (who had a rough looking swim from some of the pictures!), Gemma Korff, Michael Smyth and David Dyer are taking part in the London marathon, Simon Ashwell is taking part in the virtual London Marathon and Joanne and Martyn Parrish are taking part in the Loch Ness marathon! What a day. We’re looking forward to hearing how they all got on…

Absolutely fantastic to have members at a social event today. Whilst limited in numbers due to ongoing restrictions, it was lovely to have members, past, present and future catching up over some food and drink!

Great effort from club members in the Zwift SuperLeague race last night. Lockdown has been tough, but the creativity of the club has meant we’ve been able to race together and ‘be together’ whilst apart. We’re very proud of the efforts made by all the volunteers in the club to achieve this, and sense the future is bright as the end of lockdown starts to become a reality.

Triathlon activity remains exempt from government restrictions Further to the Prime Minister’s statement in Parliament earlier today, we understand that organised outdoor sport in England remains exempt from the new restrictions. Furthermore, we also understand new restrictions on indoor activity in England only apply to team sports.

We've come a long long way together, through the hard times and the good.
BTS are proud to be a friendly, inclusive, social club run by volunteers (members) for our members. The committee have worked hard over the last few months to ensure our squad has felt valued, social activity has continued online and training taken a different slant.
With a few moments to breath for reflection we're surprised at how much we've achieved.

Medal Monday. We're super proud of run coach Andrea Taborelli who topped the IRONMAN VR10 leaderboard this weekend in the UK.

Not only do they organise fantastic events that we love participating in, but their work enabling participation in triathlon is inspiring. We look forward to supporting at their events in future.
Massive Thanks to Berkshire Tri Club for choosing Arctic One for their Charity of the Year in 2019. Following club events fundraising days etc they have raised a staggering £1050!
All of this money will go into our Grant System helping many other Para Athletes pursue their sport. We will be in touch with your members shortly highlighting some of the people that you have helped.
Many of the Tri Club Members take part in our Events and also help out at our annual Tri and Para Tri Festival at Dorney Lake. We are very grateful!
