The weather may not be great at the moment, but it didn't deter Caroline from getting out on the water with Emma who is heading up the Watersport4Women club this season. This morning's session in light winds was an opportunity to get out dinghy sailing.
Have you signed up to the Ladies Sailing weekend on 12th/13th May? Regional RYA supported initiative to intro women to dinghy sailing. There are a number of centres in the south east helping to promote the sport and Bray Lake Watersports are one of them. Sign up to give sailing a go. Share the link with friends and family, and lets go sailing!

Early season newsletter from Bray Lake Watersports. Check out what we're doing this month
We have now set the dates for our two winter paddles this year, with the first being Sunday the 20th of November, followed by the second on December the 18th.
So now that the weather has turned a little colder, we'll be turning our attention to paddle sports in order to prepare for the trips. We have two weeks until the first paddle so if you are interested in taking part please make sure you are able to attend the next couple of Tuesday sessions for some training.
The first paddle on 20th November is from Bourne End, starting at 10.00am aiming to arrive right back here at the Lake at around 1.00pm.
More details to follow this Tuesday as we start to prepare. Hope to see you there!

Ladies Club will be returning after the October half term where we wil be running on a week by week basis for as long as we can until it gets just too cold. Last year we were out on the water all the way through November so we still have plenty of time to fit in some more windsurfing, sailing and paddle sports! Give us a call on 01628 638860 for prices and to book on to our Tuesday morning sessions, running from 10am - 12pm as of Nov the 2nd. Hope to see you there!
19 October 2011
Another term has been and gone here on the lake, and the ladies are starting to make some great progression through the RYA Windsurfing scheme with four of them, Ariane, Sarah, Jo and Lydia now achieving their first Start Windsurfing Certificate. The other ladies are hot on their heels and have been enjoying a range of different activiteis over the past six weeks. Check out the latest photos!
Hello Ladies, can you believe it is already September, where is the year going? Well, lets get the next term underway. We're offering next Tuesday 6th as an intro back into the Ladies Club and then the term starts officially on the 13th Sep until 18th Oct - come and join us. New members very welcome, so bring a friend.
Ladies Club is back up and running with several women joining Laura for a spot of windsurfing. Everyone really enjoyed the session and signed up for remaining term, albeit a bit of a short one! Really good fun and very sociable, sign up for the next series starting 7th June.
Our start date of 26th April was clearly a bit ambitious as lots of you weren't available until early May. So we've rescheduled for a 4 week block starting 3rd May. Individual sessions cost £30, but if you sign up for all 4 weeks cost will be just £96 (non-members) or £68 (members). Give the Centre a call to join in the fun.
Help share the word about our Tuesday club - tell all your friends about our ladies only club, the more the merrier.
