Sometimes as a coach you have a magic moment 💗 yesterday was one of them. A little girl in our Scrumys after school session gave me a drawing that she had done for me. It was us playing Rugby, and I of course had a crown on 👑 made my day 😀

Some more sad news.. Scrumys are incredibly saddened to hear the news of the passing of broadcasting great, Eddie Butler.

Capped 16 times for Wales - including six times as captain - Butler would later go on to provide the commentary to some of the greatest moments in Rugby.

Our thoughts are with his family. RIP Eddie.

We are heartbroken 💔 to hear the news of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth’s ll death.

Running a business in the shadows of Windsor Castle, and being part of the local community, this very sad news is even more poignant to the Scrumys team and Scrumys families.

We were extremely fortunate to be involved in the Queens Jubilee and we thank her for her embodiment of our values, Respect, Discipline and Fun!

Our thoughts and prayers are with the royal family at this sad time.

RIP Ma’am with your soulmate. ❤️

Mixed-Tag-Rugby (Non-Contact) on the Windsor Beach(!) at Alexandra Gardens Friday 3 and Saturday 4 June

Knock out competitions on both days from 10am to 5pm. (Morning sessions 10am-12pm, afternoon 2-5pm). Teams of all abilities invited to enter.

Please email [email protected] if you are interested in raising a team and taking part. It’s mixed-tag-rugby, squads of 10, five players in-play at any time, playing on Olympic-grade surface being imported specially for the event. Matches are 5 minutes each way. No player restrictions, as the ethos begins and ends with inclusivity. (Under 18s need parental consent)

This will be a fantastic spectator event, no tickets required, just come along and enjoy. It is being generously sponsored by the Windsor and Eton Brewery (amongst others), who are providing a Beach Bar at the ground and there will also be a BBQ available. On the Friday evening there is also a Silent Disco, for players, supporters and spectators and their families, (free of charge).

The Clubhouse for the event is at the Windsor and Eton Brewery at SL4 1SE, where there will be refreshments available all day from 7am. Everyone is welcome.

Sirs, ma’am’s, Ladies & Gents, PALS Battalion CIC are proud to announce our second annual fixture against the London Ambulance Service which this year will be held at Richmond Rugby Athletic Ground on 25.09.22 and will also include the very first PALS v LAS woman’s game!
