Some times it’s not about the . One of our members reported an injured swan to the lake owner and the ILFFC Fisheries Officer who went straight to the lake and stood over the swan protecting it from the resident swan family until the Wildlives Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre staff arrived. They were able to retain the injured swan and take it away for treatment. Hopefully it'll be released back into the wild. Well done to all those involved. Angling Trust

The are starting to get caught again after a slow hot summer. Our Fishery’s Officer took the opportunity to do a mornings having plenty of action.
