This isn’t what I expected to happen on my last Sunday bike ride!
Whilst riding down a gravel track, I hit a pothole!
I have been glued back together, the gravel rash down my arm and shoulder is on the mend and luckily my bike is fine.
Don’t let falls put you off, however do reflect on the positives. I was wearing gloves and a helmet otherwise it may hand been a lot worse, I had my phone and it wasn’t raining! 😀
Sadly I won’t be cycling for a couple of weeks as I’m unable to mend my knee.

Lovely potter around the lanes today with Sarah in the sunshine 🌞
We even stopped for a lolly.
Happy cycling everyone.

A lovely ride out in the sunshine. Really feels like spring has arrived.

It didn’t take long today to work out why no one else was out on their bikes!
Freezing head wind and snow! Felt like my toes were going to drop off.
Didn’t really warm up until the last 5k from home, typical.
But still good to be out.

Short little spin out once most of the ice had gone. However my route was slightly compromised today!
However, is it sad to be excited over new tarmac down a lane?

Managed to get out on the bike for the first time in ages. Did some sightseeing on the way. Lol.

Haven’t been out for a while, so really enjoyed a spin out and about in the sunshine.
Met some nosy Belted Galloways and stopped for a drink over a lovely stream.

Nicks up and running with his mobile bike repairs. So if your bike or your kids bike won’t change gear, or they crunch every time you change gear give Nick a shout. If there are rattles, stretched brake cables or the chain needs replacing he’s your man. In need of a full service, overhaul or upgrade Nick will be more than willing to advise.

Delivered another spanking new bike to a little lad at a Malvern primary school, who’s had a very hard few years after a devastating family death.
Kindly donated by a Alex Poulson a business man who used to live in Northampton now in the USA (LA)
There is such kindness out there, it warms your heart how strangers are willing to help a kid they don’t know.
Owning your first brand new bike as a kid, is something you never forget. This also teaches the kids that random acts of kindness don’t just happen to other people and just a little bit of fairy dust can go a very long way to making smiles.
Thanks you Alex Poulson, your awesome. 👍
