Our luxurious leather boxes keep safe the things that matter - from jewellery, cufflinks, cards and clutter to treasured memorabilia. And when you have them personalised they’ll know how much you care. Handmade by a fair trade Commonwealth cooperative using age-old traditional skills, these high quality classic and colourful leather boxes range from Mini Boxes, great for event and wedding favours, to bespoke Memory Boxes; and custom-made prizes to presentation packaging to special gifts. I'm Charlotte Carver, founder, owner and designer at The Little Leather Box Company, and I really enjoy helping people to preserve their treasure and memories through the power of much-loved objects, creating containers that are as special as their contents. With a background covering publishing, event organisation, travel and property management, my aim now is to provide beautiful personalised presents. Together with my husband Bill (a retired London lawyer) we're specialists in the art of personalisation, and offer hot foil embossing on our leather boxes, as well as exclusive hand engraving on our silver and gold cufflinks. After 30 years in London, we work from Bill's rebuilt family home in rural Worcestershire, building on our considerable experience of designing and sourcing presents for special occasions and red letter days for loyal clients and new customers right across the UK, and throughout our one world.

1985 to date - that's 40 years+ and we're selling off our stock... some of it in bumper packs we've called BUNDLE & SAVE.... ideal for re-sale if you like, or to gift to your friends as their birthdays and other special events in 2026 and beyond require you to find a little present.
However, when it's gone, it's gone - unrepeatable, never to be seen again here!
Here's an update about us since when it all began ...

History of The LLBC by Charlotte Carver, Owner and Founder of The Little Leather Box Company

1985 - Dainty Freshwater Pearls from friends in the Far East prove popular at work

1989 - My first ‘Upstairs Downstairs Sale’ at home in Chiswick

1989-1990 - A few of us stallholders band together to form The Charity Fairs Association

1990 - I rebrand as Scheherazade classic and colourful jewellery & leathergoods

1995 - Bill retires as London lawyer and we move back to his native Worcestershire (that's OK, I was a Warwickshire lass)

2010 - Scheherazade rebrands as The Little Leather Box Company (thanks to Hannah Lawrence Home and Hera Cashmere)

2010 - 2018 - Charity fairs and house sales as event organiser, stallholder + mail order

2010 to date - always helping people to get their present panic sorted!

2026 - Now 40 years on and we plan to do more painting and gardening and selling off our stock.
So - as I've said before - when it's gone, it's gone - i.e. no more leather boxes bar a few named uniquely named Ex-display Samples.
But we do still have some smart sterling silver cufflinks and dainty freshwater pearls, also handmade leather wallets which can be personalised.
