I was having breakfast and preparing to climb Kilimanjaro, which was peeking at us behind the trees. I can remember every time I looked at it I thought “it’s not that big”. I never thought for a second that I couldn’t or wouldn’t. I reckon it’s that mindset that was the difference for me.

Sometimes the challenges in life look insurmountable. We can always find a way if the desire is strong.

Step one in my plan to become a sailor - complete! ⛵️👩‍✈️
