Last week we held our annual Presentation Night.

Our talented and hardworking U9s, U11s, and U13s came together to celebrate the incredible effort put in this cricket season.

Then we continued the evening with our senior presentation.

It’s always a great event that brings together the Stand community across all age groups.

Thanks again for a fantastic season, everyone!

The final weekend post of the season folks sees our 1st XI take on Astley & Tyldesley CC (12pm Away) and the 2nd XI vs Woodbank CC (12pm, played at Rochdale CC).

Then later on, our Cricket Presentation Night takes place. Starting with Happy Hour from 5.00–7.00pm, with drinks reduced to £3. Then the junior presentation for the U9s, U11s and U13s will start from 7.00pm, followed by the senior presentation later in the evening.

Any Eagles who were unable to make last Friday’s presentation are more than welcome to come along, collect their medal and stay for the presentations.

🏏 A tough weekend, but plenty to be proud of at Stand CC.

Unfortunately, defeats for both our 1st XI and 2nd XI against Walshaw CC and Horwich RMI respectively confirmed relegation for both sides.

A big thank you to Rochdale CC for hosting our game and for the fantastic hospitality, it was very much appreciated. 👏

Our Ladies also brought their season to a close away at Flixton, narrowly losing by just 10 runs. Despite the result, it’s been a really positive season for the team, finishing mid-table and giving us plenty to build on for next year. 💪🏏

Not the result we wanted for our senior sides, but that’s cricket. We regroup, rebuild and come back stronger in 2027.

There’s still one more game to go for both the 1st and 2nd XIs next Saturday (12th), before we bring the season to a close with our Presentation Evening from 7pm.
