Today we want to recognise someone incredibly special to our club, our Head Coach, Elizabeth 💙

Over the past few years, Elizabeth has taken this club to heights we never thought possible. In just four years our club has grown by 70%, we’ve achieved multiple awards and we continue moving forward on an incredible trajectory.

What many people don’t see is the work that happens beyond the poolside. Elizabeth works full time like so many volunteers, yet gives countless hours to the club without being paid as Head Coach. She choreographs every routine, spends hours planning sessions, designing programmes, completing admin, organising competitions, and preparing swimmers to be the best they can be.

The dedication behind the scenes, the late nights, the planning, the creativity, is what makes this club what it is today. The work that no one else sees shows just how deeply she cares about her swimmers and this club.

Elizabeth is supported by an incredible committee and coaching team but the role she carries is a big one. She feels every moment because this club and these swimmers mean so much to her. When people expect big results or a medal and don’t fully understand this sport or the journey, she feels it! She wants it too, but remember, it doesn’t happen over night.

We simply can’t thank you enough. Your swimmers’ successes are your successes too.

What an incredible weekend at the Swim England Artistic Swimming National Age Groups 2026! 🇬🇧✨

This year we travelled with more swimmers than ever before, and every single one of them represented the club with determination, courage and pride.

We had 2 x 10 & Under swimmers competing who have only been learning FG3 for just 4 weeks — an amazing achievement in itself.
Our 3 x 12 & Under swimmers competed at their first ever national competition, stepping onto a huge stage and performing brilliantly.
And our 2 x 13–15 swimmers, who recently achieved their Silver FG4, qualified to enter both a duet and a solo.

All of our swimmers performed incredibly well on a national platform. Our 13–15 duet pair and soloist delivered outstanding figures, finishing top third in the country, missing out on the duet qualification by just 0.5 marks. The dedication and work they have put in to reach this level has been immense and we couldn’t be prouder.

Results are exciting, but medals aren’t the true measure of success. Courage, growth, hard work, and the confidence to step up onto the national stage - that’s what really matters.

We are so proud of every swimmer who competed this weekend. The future is incredibly bright. 🌟

So many PBs, and a huge amount of determination shown all weekend. Every single swimmer stepped up, gave it their all, and absolutely smashed it in the pool.

Our team rose to the challenge and showed what hard work, commitment, and team spirit can do.

Massive well done to everyone who competed. Your effort, attitude, and support for each other is what makes this team special.
