Great to see my nephew back where it all began on a Black Flash Promotions show.

People will always have their opinions, but sometimes the smartest move is to take a step back so you can take two steps forward. This isn’t about pride—it’s about purpose. There will be a title fight on July 18th - this is another step towards the world title opportunity that Zelfa has earned through years of hard work, sacrifice, and dedication.

What makes this journey even more special for me is that I no longer have to be his coach. I get to be his Uncle Pat and his friend again—something that was missing between us for far too long. Boxing can sometimes blur those lines, and it’s nice to get that relationship back.

Whether he’s headlining a major televised card or fighting on a Black Flash show, he’ll always get the same respect, support, and platform from me. Because talent like his doesn’t disappear—it just needs the right opportunity to remind people.

July 18th, we go again. One thing is certain: I’ll be doing everything I can to make sure the doors open for him to reach the world title he truly deserves.
