A familiar face visited Station Green today - and Judy came by to meet the Station Growers and check out the community garden they care for. Thanks for dropping by!
And a big thank you to our wonderful team of volunteer gardeners who assemble every Thursday from 10am–12:30pm to maintain the garden, learn sustainable gardening skills and help keep Levenshulme in bloom.
If you’d like to get involved, Station Growers is open to everyone - just drop into a session. No booking needed.
We also offer Employer Supported Volunteering for workplaces looking to get out of the office, spend time team‑building, and give back to a community space that so many people enjoy.
If you have any questions about how to get involved in our community garden, email us at [email protected]

We can’t believe it’s been a week since Cycle Fest 2026.
Huge thanks to everyone who came out and braved the weather. To the 121 riders who set off in sunshine and returned through hail, rain and a full‑blown thunderstorm - you’re heroes. And to our 21 brilliant ride leaders who volunteered their time to make these rides happen, we appreciate you more than you know.
Special thanks to for fuelling our leaders and keeping them going with post‑ride refreshments.
In the end the clouds cleared, we fired up the BBQ, and we danced in the sun like nothing had happened.
Thank you to all our amazing sponsors, partners, facilitators and of course the people of Leverhulme for being part of something special. And another shout to and for supporting the rides and the wider event.
And of course- thank you for capturing it all.

It’s looking like a proper sunny week.
Which means the garden’s doing most of the work.
After work pints, long lunches, easy dinners outside. That’s the plan.
On top of that:
• Turkish Night – Saturday from 7pm (food, dance, live music)
• Felted Fox Workshop – Wednesday evening
• Free Bike Clinics – get sorted for summer
• Spring Planting Celebration – Saturday daytime
• Station Growers – every Thursday morning
Or just come down, find a table and stay a while.

Thursday we’ve got our regular quiz night. £2 to play, prizes up for grabs, and just the right level of chaos.

Alongside all that, our new menu is now fully up and running, with food served right through until 8:30pm.
And if the weather behaves, the beer garden is exactly where you want to be.
