This weekend our Men’s and Women’s squads travel to Dorney Lake for Met Regatta as the first race of the Henley Campaign. Time trial times are as follows:

𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐬 𝟑𝟐-𝟑𝟑 - 𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐥🐣

A couple of weekends ago we held our annual club Easter Ball. This is always a highlight of the year, and having everyone dressed up, receiving awards, and welcoming back some Nemesis members made for a great way to round off the regular season.

The club now turns its eyes towards Henley, with our senior squads heading down to Dorney this weekend for Met Regatta.

Regatta season is back! At the weekend our squads travelled down to Nottingham for BUCS regatta.

Always one of the best weekends of the year, our squads saw almost universal improvements on last year’s results:

𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐬 𝟐𝟕-𝟑𝟎 - 𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 🪺

The Easter period might have meant a break from uni work but not from the boat club.

Following our very successful 24 hour row fundraiser, we welcomed to the boathouse to be presented with a defibrillator that will help to ensure the safety of our members for years to come. Thanks again to everyone that supported!

We also went on our Easter camp, slightly closer to home than originally intended, but nevertheless a great week of rowing that has set us up well for BUCS regatta

𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝟐𝟔 - 𝐇𝐨𝐑𝐑 𝐑𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐩 🚩

Our final head race of the season saw our Senior and Novice Men’s squads head down to London, racing the Head of the River Race as a 1st VIII (158th) and composite 2nd VIII (314th).

As always it was a privilege to race on the Tideway, and significant to have our club represented in the centenary edition of the race!

Described by many ( ) as “the dark horses of the medium academic pennant”, here are our two crews making the trip to London to represent Manchester at the centenary edition of the Head of the River Race.
