Someone once said when you love someone with Dementia you lose them more and more everyday. When they are diagnosed, when they go through different stages, when they need treatment and when they die. This is called "Ambigua Loss."
I wouldn’t wish Dementia on anyone. As the brain slowly dies, it changes physically and eventually forgets who their loved ones are. They can end up lying in bed not moving and not eating or drinking.
There will be people who will scroll by this post because Dementia has not touched them. They may not know what it's like to have a loved one who battled or is fighting Dementia.
To Raise Awareness of this Cruel Disease, I'd like my Friends to Put this on their Page Today.

A Special Thank You to All Willing to Post This On their Timeline for Alzheimer’s Awareness Week 💜

Help Make A Child's Christmas 2020 Help Body-Beautiful Bootcamp raise money to support The Toy Appeal - Give a Child a Christmas
Not written anything on here for a few days. 😭
Been really busy this week so far, and looking at tomorrow's bookings. If I don't get this down now. I won't get it down at all.
I was speaking with a client this morning about a few tips/tricks to try when I was going through her food diary and thought I'd share.
1. Do you keep a food diary? Do you log what you have going in? Calories/proteins/carbs/fats?
If you are looking to gain weight but can't. (Calorie surplus in needed here along with good sources of energy/carbs and adequate protein consumption too, proper training, rest ect ect ect )
If you want to loose weight? This is much more simpler in my honest opinion. What ever diet you choose, paleo, slimming world, 5:2 diet, IIFYM...whatever. A calorie deficit is what is essentially needed. And the best way to do this is to track your nutritional intake.
2. Do you drink enough water on a daily basis....If you are thirsty, your body is already dehydrated. To gain muscle-you need water, to lose fat-you need water. To keep all of your normal body functions working you need water. To repair....guess what. You need water.
3. Have you got your head in gear. Your body does what your mind tells it to do. Me personally I haven't got my head in gear yet. Mindset is so important if you want to make a change. It will keep you consistent, it will tell you what works/doesn't, it keeps you motivated, it keeps you on track and makes you push forward. Focusing on a goal is a great way to get started. Pick a goal and work towards it consistently meeting smaller goals along the way.
Hope some of these help you.
Happy training 😁

It's that time again..... weekend!!!
I was chatting to a client today after his session. About why some people won't step foot into a gym or are too self conscious to make the hardest step, which is actually walking in and being judged by others. It got me thinking about this inspirational song, listen to the words. Feel their meaning, understand that nothing should hold you back from being who you are.
Enjoy and

Since posting updates and fitness ideas/practices/rules to follow on this page since early last week...we've lost several followers. 1,2,3...oooorrrrr. sad times.
This isn't an issue as soon I'll have an incentive/competition for our followers. Ain't that good😁😁😁
For now, I've just received a lovely review from a client. Have a look. And remember what ever you choose to do to get in shape...number one rule to get there and stay there is.
YOU MUST ENJOY WHAT YOU DO!!
Superb Personal Training, Advice and Ongoing Support - I first contacted John in October 2016 and we arranged a consultation regarding my requirements and goals for the PT sessions. Straight away I was put at ease and John took his time to advise on my objectives for physical fitness and a plan for me to achieve my desired goals. Not wanting to go to a gym and been somewhat embarrassed about my physical ability I can honestly say my goals became John's goals, my achievements were all supported by him as my PT! Here I am some 18 months later, achieving results I had not dared to dream of, fitter, healthier an improved physic and mental attitude towards personal training and exercise. If you want to achieve your PT goals John is the trainer you need, if you want to be pushed to your limits and motivated to achieve more or go that extra round - call John. I have never looked back and outside of my sessions, John sends me regular workouts, words of encouragement and helpful and healthy advice on my journey to a healthier client! Your not just a statistic with John his dedication your personal fitness is always at the forefront of the training sessions planned for you!

Consistency, increased intensity, frequency, continued progress = change. All the above are what you need to make a change
Signs It’s Time to Get a Personal Trainer It's not normal to be injured all the time.
I'm all finished for the weekend. Just finished sending homework sessions to clients and motivational texts of support. Here are a few more tips on how to have a productive and healthier weekend.
Weekends are the most difficult of times to stay on your diet/program.
Try to remember damage limitation!!!
This means not sacrificing everything but limiting what damage you do, you could try:-
1. Hit the gym this weekend
2. Enter your local parkrun.
3. Eat a good breakfast
4. Join a gym or take a new class.
5. Have a low calorie mixer in you drink of choice
6. Drink water with every meal.
7. Have a blow out, but get back on track ASAP.
8. Go for a walk with the kids/dog/better half.
9. Get inspired to do more, to be the best you can be.
10. Prepare your meals/menu for the coming week.
Fail to Prepare, prepare to fail. Do what ever you need to do to keep you on track 80% of the time. Get it done....

5 Nutrition Tips..... to help your body transform to a leaner, fitter you.
1. Drink plenty of water..2.5lts. This helps you flush toxins, helps your skin tone massively. If you drink a pint with every meal - You are less likely to over eat.
2. Get plenty of sleep. 8hrs is ideal. This is when you grow, this is when you repair. This is essential when you are trying to change your body composition. Bottom line, you need rest.
3. Eat foods that have minimal prosessed ingredients. Think about perimeter shopping on your next supermarket visit. Fresh foods are always placed at the perimeter of the store.
4. Eat protein at every meal. This keeps you fuller for longer. Protein breaks down into amino acids. These help to rebuild muscles and are essential for the repairing process.
5. The 80:20% rule. Try to maintain a calorie deficit daily. Meaning you need to consume less than you use in a day. But you can have a treat every now and then. Life is for living. So live it!!! Then get back on it when you are done.
Keep things simple and enjoy your foods, it doesn't have to be a chore.
Happy training 👍🏻

As promised I will be updating this page over the next few days.
Since finding a few reviews and posting them here. I've noticed we've lost a few followers. This is ok and I'm ok with this....they are going to miss out on to helpful free information in the coming weeks. Here is the first.
A Transformation Triangle.
The boxes closer to the base are the most important areas you really need to focus on.
Get the basics right and everything else kinda falls into place. Worry about the little things later. Bottom line, what ever you choose to do to get fitter....keep going and enjoy yourself and the results will come
Happy training 👍🏻

Here is the final one I've found today. Have a read.
Some lovely people out there, thank you so much for the time you have taken in reviewing your experiences. And most of all thank you for your dedication too.
"I found body beautiful bootcamp on the Internet after deciding enough was enough and I needed to do something about my weight. I've tried the gym, swimming, spinning classes, running....all last a few weeks then the motivation is gone.
This is where bootcamp is different, every session is different and tailored to meet everyone's needs, John is with each of you every step of the way, he motivates you to push yourself to your limits and does it in a fun environment.
This isn't like any regular bootcamp, with an instructor who has always been good at sport and always been slim. John has been through exactly what we are going through now and that's a massive plus point for me. He understands what you're going through and it really shows.
Bootcamp isn't a chore, I can't wait to go 3 times a week and miss it when it's not on, great bunch of people and made some amazing friends.
John and his bootcamp has literally changed my life for the better. Thank you!
Best thing I ever did! Only regret not coming sooner. # # #"
Here is another sucess story, determination goes along way.
John has been my Personal Trainer since November. He has developed my fitness from couch potato to his little "powerhouse" in that time. He has supported me in losing 5 stone, never giving up on what was this, lost cause!!!
I have been so inspired by John and what he has done for me, that I am now training to be a Personal Trainer myself, in the hope that one day I will be a tenth of the trainer that John is!!!
