Football In The City is a charity five-a-side tournament held in Manchester every quarter, raising money for two local charities, Kidscan and Reclaim!
Football In The City is a new concept to be launched early in 2015 in Manchester. There will be a number of five a side tournaments throughout the year, for businesses and organisations to enter teams, while networking with like minded individuals and raising money for Charity; Reclaim Project and Kidscan. Here are all the pictures from our latest Charity tournament, held at Goals Manchester, raising funds for Kidscan and RECLAIM on the 16th October! After a close fought tournament, it was Morgan Sindall Superstars who took the trophy on the night, with CNi Solutions, previous winners, coming a close second! It was great evening of football and networking, finished off with a few beers and pizza! Our next tournament will be in January 2016!! But watch this space for our upcoming ‘End of Season’ drinks celebrations in December! Please ‘Like’, ‘Share’ and ‘Tag’ away anyone you recognise!! The boots are polished, the grass is cut, it's out with the old boys and in with the new as the scene is set for the start of the new footballing season!
Forget the race to the Premiership, the jostle for La Liga or Bayern's dominance of the Bundesliga, Football In The City is again hosting the greatest football contest since Brazil 2014 by launching the third Football in the City tournament!!!
Following the great success from our competitions in March and June we are holding our third corporate tournament on Friday 25th September. Registration will take place from 4.30pm with a 5.30pm kick off!
However, much like Arsenal’s move from Highbury to the Emirates, this season will see a change of venue as we move to Goals Manchester (3, Irish Town Way, Manchester, M8 0RY).
This also sees a reduction to our pricing with a team of 7 now costing £220, which includes a free drink and pizza on the night!

It was a great day last Friday, 26th June, with our third, Football In The City tournament taking place! This time saw a number of corporate teams playing against each other in a knockout tournament, with the final seen between CNi Solutions and Search Consultancy; CNi Solutions just managed to take the crown for a second time, though it came down to the line with a penalty shootout!!
