Everyone is buzzing on a Friday because they are escaping. Then Monday hits and they are back inside the same week they were desperate to get out of. That is why the mood drops. It is not the alarm clock. It is the life waiting on the other side of it.

I know it because I lived it. I told myself I was just letting off steam. I was not. I was buying two days away from a life I did not want to be in.

Here is the part people do not want to hear. If you loved your week you would not need to escape it every Friday. Wanting out that badly, that often, is a signal. In my eyes that is addiction, and addiction does not look like what you were taught it looks like. It is not just the person on the street with nothing left. There are rich addicts. There are fit addicts. There are people with good jobs and nice cars who cannot get through a week without checking out of it.

Most of them are in denial. Denial feels safe because it lets you believe you are fine, and believing you are fine lets you keep going exactly as you are. Another week, another Friday, same feeling on Monday.

Nothing moves until you accept it. That is the first step. Not a plan, not a program, not a new routine. Acceptance. You own it first, then you get to change it.

Send this to someone who lives for Friday and dreads Monday.

Nobody tells you this part.

If you want to build something real, your social life is the first thing that goes. Not forever. But for a season.

The coffees, the catch ups, the random Tuesday night sat at someone's house watching whatever is on. You have to be willing to say no to all of it while you are building. Not because you stopped caring about people, but because you only have so many hours and right now they belong to the thing you are trying to build.

Most coaches will not do that. They want the business and the full calendar. They want to be booked out and still be the one who never misses a night out. Then they wonder why twelve months later everything looks exactly the same.

Being busy is not the flex. Being locked in on one thing long enough for it to actually work, that is the flex.

And here is the part nobody warns you about. The people close to you will not always understand it. Some will take it personally. A few will drift off. The ones who stay are the ones sat there with you when it finally pays off, and that group gets small very fast.

Say no now so you can say yes to everything later.

Send this to the coach who keeps telling you they have no time.

Stopping fake dopamine is the whole secret.

That is the biggest change I made this year. Not a new app, not a new offer, not another 5am routine. I just took away the things that were paying me in cheap hits so my brain stopped feeling full before I had done anything real.

Because that is what it does to you. You wake up, you scroll for twenty minutes, you check the app, you watch other coaches win, and by 10am your brain already thinks it has achieved something. So when it is time to sit down and record, or send the messages, or build the thing that actually moves your business, there is nothing left in the tank. You are not lazy. You are just full.

If I compare me now to me last year, that is the difference. Same brain, same hours, way less noise. The work got easier the second it became the most interesting thing in my day again.

And I am not perfect at it. I still have things that give me a hit and I know if I removed them I would move even faster. That is the honest version. This is not about becoming a monk, it is about noticing what you reach for when the work gets uncomfortable, and being willing to lose it for a while.

Most coaches do not have a discipline problem. They have a dopamine problem. Fix the input and the output takes care of itself.

Send this to the coach who keeps saying they will start Monday.

Look around at how many coaches in this industry never meet anyone in person.

No events. No rooms. No travel. Just a laptop, a screenshot and a number they say they hit.

Anyone can sit behind a screen and type I made 30k this month. Typing it is easy. Standing in a room full of people who paid to be there and actually delivering is not.

That is the filter. The ones doing real numbers are the ones who show up, shake hands, look their clients in the eye and get held accountable to their face. The ones faking it stay behind the screen, because the screen is the only place the story holds up.

That is why I run events. And when a client gets a proper result, I will get on a plane and go and see them. Not for content. That is just what it looks like when you care about the outcome and not only the invoice.

If you are building an online coaching business and you have never once been in the same room as the people you coach, that is the gap. Not your funnel. Not your posting times. You are asking strangers to trust you with their body and their money while staying completely invisible to them.

Get in rooms this year. Go to the events. Go and meet your clients. It will do more for your business than another month of guessing what to post.

Send this to a coach who needs to hear it and follow for more.

You are not bad on camera. Your setup is just wrong.

Tripod at eye level so it is not looking up your nose. Face a window so the light is on you and not behind you. And stop trying to memorise the whole script, that is what makes you freeze. Do one line at a time and chop it up in the edit.

If you still cannot get the words out, use the teleprompter inside the Instagram camera. Paste your script in, read it off the screen, done. Nobody watching can tell.

Your first video is going to be rough. Everyone's is. Every coach you follow started with a rough one and just kept posting until it got better. The only difference between them and the coach still waiting to feel ready is that they pressed record.

Send this to a PT who keeps saying they will start posting next week. And follow for more.

Your offer is not the problem. Your words are.

Same coaching. Same price. Same results. Change ten words and the person on the other end goes from thinking about it to asking how they start.

Here is what that looks like.

You say I think it can help you. Say I am certain it will.
You say accepting clients. Say three spots left.
You say cheaper. Say more accessible.
You say enrollment is open. Say doors close Friday.
You say discount. Say bonus.
You say sales call. Say game plan call.
You say course. Say system.
You say sign up. Say apply.
You say trust me. Say here is the proof.
You say DM me for info. Tell them the exact word to comment.

None of this is a trick. Every swap does the same job, it takes the doubt out. I think sounds like you are guessing about your own work. Accepting clients sounds like you have nothing but time. Discount tells people your price was never real in the first place. Sales call tells them exactly how the next thirty minutes are going to feel, and nobody books that on purpose.

The coaches pulling 10k months are not louder than you. They are clearer. They speak in certainty because they have watched the process work enough times to stop hedging, and the language follows the belief. So if you catch yourself softening every single sentence, the fix is not more confidence on camera. It is proof. Go get one client a real result and watch how your words change on their own.

Pick two of these and use them this week. That is all. Then read your last three captions and your last five DMs, find the spot where you shrank, and write it again in the strong version.

Send this to a coach who is still saying I think, and follow for more.

Most coaches do not lose the sale on the call. They lose it on the words they choose.

You can be the best coach in the room and still get a no because you said price instead of investment, discount instead of value, my program instead of your plan.

Here are the five I would delete from your vocabulary today.

Stop saying the price is 3 grand. Say the investment is 250 a month. Price sounds like money leaving. Investment sounds like money working.

Stop saying I will give you a discount. Say this is the best I can do, but if you start today I will add a guarantee. The second you cut the number, you tell them the first number was made up.

Stop saying this is how my program works. Say this is the step by step plan for how we get you your results. Nobody buys your program. They buy their outcome.

Stop asking does this make sense. Ask what questions have you got for me. One makes them nod and disappear. The other makes them talk.

Stop saying I will text you the link after the call. Say let's take care of it right now so I can get you started today. Every hour between the call and the payment is another hour for doubt to walk in.

None of this is manipulation. It is clarity. The person on the other end already wants the result, they are just waiting for you to make the decision easy instead of making them translate what you meant.

Read this back before your next call. Then send it to a coach who needs it.

Follow for one sales mistake fixed every single week.

Most fitness coaches are killing their own reels before anyone even watches them.

Your text is just in the wrong place.

Every reel has a green zone and a red zone. The green zone is the middle of the screen where everything is safe to sit. The red zone is the top and the bottom, where the app drops your profile name, your caption, the buttons and the progress bar. Anything you put there gets covered up.

So your text hook goes in the green zone, just above your face, never on top of it. Nobody wants to read words sitting across your mouth. And your captions go underneath, low but still inside the green zone, so the eye reads down the screen with nothing fighting for attention.

That is it. Hook up top, face in the middle, captions down low.

Sounds too small to matter. It is not. If someone has to squint or tilt their phone or work out where to look, they are gone in half a second, and the app reads that as a video people do not want. Clean layout keeps people watching. Watch time is what gets you pushed out to new people. New people are how you get clients.

Small changes make viral videos.

Send this to a coach whose text is covering their face, and follow for more.

Three words are quietly costing you clients on sales calls.

Sorry. Discount. Better.

"Sorry" makes it sound like you are apologising for showing up. Sorry for chasing you. Sorry, I just wanted to touch base. Sorry to bother you. You are not bothering anyone. You are trying to help someone change their body and their life. Say "I really appreciate you sharing that with me" instead. Same moment, completely different energy.

"Discount" drops the value of your coaching the second it leaves your mouth. If the price can fall that easily, they start wondering what the price was ever based on. Call it an exclusive offer for the people who start today. Now the price stays where it is and the reason to move is real.

"Better" starts an argument. The moment you say your program is better than the one they tried before, they defend the old one. Say different. Different starts a conversation, and now they want to know why.

Most coaches think they lose calls because their offer is weak. Usually the offer is fine. The language around it is what is shaky. You are on the call giving away your position with small words before you ever get to the close, and the person on the other end feels it even if they cannot name it.

Pick one of the three this week and cut it completely. Watch how differently people speak to you.

Send this to a coach who has a call booked this week.
