Swimming is one of those rare things that gives back at every stage of life.
It is great for your body, but it is also genuinely good for your mind.
Starting early means children build a love of the water that stays with them as they grow, something they can always come back to.
This year's Mental Health Awareness Week theme is action. We think the pool is a pretty good place to start. 🤩

A quick reminder that we will be taking a short break over Easter.
There will be no lessons running from 5 April to 18 April.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back to the pool from 19 April.

Our toddler classes support children as they begin to develop independence in the water.
With guidance from the teacher, children build confidence while continuing to feel supported.

As children grow, their experience in the water begins to change.
From being supported by a parent to starting to follow guidance from a teacher, each stage builds on the last.

At this stage, swimming lessons are not just about learning skills.
They are about being in the water together, building trust and helping children feel secure.

A child’s first experiences in the water can shape how they feel for years to come.
Parent & Baby lessons create a calm and supportive space where children can begin to feel safe and familiar in the water.

We are delighted to welcome Tasha to our team at Everlast King’s Lynn.
She has recently joined us as a swimming teacher, and we could not be happier to have her. We have already received some lovely feedback from swimmers and families who have had lessons with her.
Tasha teaches across a range of classes, including our children’s learn to swim programme, adult lessons, and our new Parent & Baby and toddler classes.
Please join us in welcoming Tasha to the team 👇

Children may not always remember the skills straight away.
But they remember how they felt.
Feeling supported, calm and encouraged is what helps confidence grow over time.

Every child experiences the water in their own way.
Some notice details others might miss. Some thrive on routine and structure. Some bring focus and determination that stands out.
Different ways of thinking and learning bring unique strengths to the pool.
We are proud to support every swimmer’s individual journey.
