New Online Classes for Cobras - Cobra Karate UK 16/04/2020

New Online Classes for Cobras - Cobra Karate UK New Online Classes for Cobras by Tracey Drain | 16 Apr 2020 Tonight I ran Cobra Karate’s first remote, online training! Thanks ever so much to all those that attended – I felt re-energised afterwards. I’ve now got the hang of the dual screen set up, and Admin Daz has managed to to connect the ...

Hello Cobras👋
Just a quick update to let you know that we’ve set up a Telegram group to keep you updated about the fast-changing situation regarding the operation of classes. As it stands right now, classes are currently running as normal. All equipment is sanitised (and always has been). Physical interaction is completely optional and nitrile gloves are available should you wish to wear them. In the event of school closures, classes will be postponed until further notice. If you feel unwell, have a fever or cough, have been told to self-isolate or your school/college/workplace has been closed due to COVID-19, please DO NOT attend any classes.

📣💬 For up-to-date info, download the Telegram App and join t.me/cobrakarate

We’ve chosen this app because it works across multiple devices and platforms, is more secure than WhatsApp, and has better notification controls. There will be no spamming so notifications (which you can turn off) will be minimal.

I completely understand if you do not want to attend classes during the current situation...but I would ask that if the class is operational and you won’t be attending, then please do let me know so we can make a pragmatic decision about whether the class should continue to operate.

Thanks guys...and keep washing your hands. 👍

🥋To the dads that only joined in that one time to help ease their kid's nerves...yet finds themselves in a gi on the back line.
🥋To the dads that have trained for years and now their kids follow in their footsteps.
🥋To the dads that decided watching from the side of the dojo wasn't enough and now inspire their kids to keep training alongside them,
🥋To the dads that brings their kids to classes, gradings and tournaments, all year round and in all weather.
🥋To the dads that crossed the 'picket line' just under 10 years ago, to support the little club with no ego.
🥋To the dads that stood shoulder to shoulder with me, despite once teaching me when I had a lot to learn.
🥋To the dads that help me out, carry the kit, sort the class sheet and do the warm up when the M60 is a nightmare
🥋To the dads who watched through gritted teeth when I made their little girl cry...then thanked me years later when their girls became warriors.
🥋To the dads with incredible patience who put their weekend beer and takeaway on hold whilst I go on with myself...even though the class should have finished half an hour ago!
🥋To the tolerant dads who let me use them for a demo, whilst their kid laughs and makes me show them again...and wishes they had the insight to put a box on before the start of the class 😆
🥋To all Cobra dads...

🎉🎉HAPPY FATHER'S DAY🎉🎉
