Following the clash of the Cross Country Leagues, the committee has decided that only 3 races will now be required to qualify.

Hades Hill Success

More success for the Harriers at Hades Hill on Thursday night. 1st man home for the Harriers was Stuart Litster with an impressive 6th Overall and winning his Age Cat. Stuart now has an unassailable Age lead in the Run The Moors Fell GP and is lying in a very comfortable 3 place in the overall standings. Second man home was John Weaver, who strengthened his position 2 Age Cat in the GP from Aaron Marsh third.

Holcombe Two Towers FR ’26

Brilliant results for our fell runners at Wednesday evenings RTMFGP race at the Two Towers Fell Race (hosted by Holcombe.) Stuart Litster gained a Third Overall position and John Hall won his Age Category, there were strong runs by all our runners, which is is good news for our standings in the Run The Moors Fell GP. Pennington Flash Trail 2026

Piethorne 10K

We were treated to near perfect running conditions this Sunday after the recent heat with cool temperatures and only a bit of rain. This 10k race starts and ends near Ogden/Piethorne reservoirs in Newhey, crossing under the motorway towards Littleborough on some deceptively tough loose stony paths. We returned back over the M62 via Tunshill Golf club, up a long steep cobbled road before a nice grassy descent and woody dash to the reservoir dam to be greeted by a lovely table of drinks and treats (and free beers!) Harriers had some great results....
