B PRO || U13 RAIDERS PRESENTATION 🎉
The start of May kicked off our Presentation season.. Another celebration🌟
Our U13 Raiders Team - there isn’t much more we can show in our appreciation for this fantastic group of people!🙌
They’ve had so many amazing moments this season for the team, they’ve had many ups&downs, but they came out the other side stronger than ever!
Adam & Dillon are very committed to the lads & it shows in every passing week..
Massive well done to each and every one of the players & Special mentions to our individual award winners!🥳
Managers Player - J. Caine
This was incredibly difficult to make the selection on, but this player has perfectly shown exactly what we look for in a player. Consistency describes this player perfectly. Consistently coachable, consistently ready to put in a shift, consistently here. This player is another one who has flown under the radar, but that fact hasn’t stopped him. He plays, not for the possibility of winning a trophy at the end of a match or session, not for the gushing of praise, but for his own personal love of the sport. And whilst that is a personal failing this season, not giving this player their flowers nearly as often as deserved, he has carried on turning up for me, week in, week out. He has carried on working at 200% effort for me, and the team, week in, week out. He has carried on showing me up by beating me everywhere for meet times, week in, week out!
Players Player - J. Parsons
This award is one to be very proud of, as it is you, the players who have voted for the winner. This player is celebrated by their teammates for their hard work, unwaverable energy, and always positive attitude. They put in the work wherever they are asked to play, and put in 110% effort into every job they are tasked with. Twinkle feet, and ferocious desire have been standout qualities on display all season. Being recognised as player of the month, and reaching double figures in G/A, whilst spending significant minutes deeper on the pitch is just part of why they are being awarded today. This is a player who has never once moaned about anything, and just wants to fight for the team. This is a player who has missed 1 game in a 27 game season!
Parents Player - M. Oriakhel
This next award has been voted by your parents, and when they did vote, they also shared a few reasons as to why, and these reasons were absolutely overflowing with praise. Our Parents Player of the Year is a player who would run through brick walls if he was asked to, he is a player who has never looked tired for a second despite playing substantial minutes, and he is a player who gets stuck into everyone and anyone. Always fearless and always fierce, ask him to do something and he treats it like an order. Somehow, this player, from never playing football before, has dominated midfield after midfield, and has shown off amazing talent!
Most Improved Player - B. Beaman
The difference in this player from meeting them to now, youd be forgiven for thinking it was a different kid. It took a lot of deliberation to decide on this award, and we have ended up on this player by taking into consideration that not all improvement is technical skill on the pitch. Our most Improved player for the 25/26 season, is one who has been talented from the get-go, but started out not quite understanding the sway they had. As the season has progressed, and we have had many chats about the how instead of the what, they have grown into a leader, always sharing information, and confident to share their ideas to me. The way they convey their messages now is uplifting instead of downputting, and as well as seeing a boost to the team, it has resulted in a boost to this players game as well. A massive well done to our Most Improved Player of the Year, for his progression and maturity into the leader he now is, Bobby Beaman!
Unsung Hero Award - H. Carey
Our first special award goes to a player who turns up week in week out, consistenty gets on with their job, and despite showing fantastic development and improvement, has often flown under the radar. This player quiety gets on with everything thrown at him, and is never scared of being physical and getting stuck in. He’s one who would prefer to keep it simple, win the ball and move it on, instead of inviting pressure onto himself, but he doesn’t let anything stand in his way, and his determinedness is commendable!
Linesman of the Year - Ezra Dalton
Our final award now, goes to someone who has forged a spot within the team, not by kicking a ball, but by his support to the team, and his help given to me and Dillon as backroom staff. Many people hate doing this job, myself included, but with this persons help, matchdays have become easier, his eagerness to join in and help, have been massive boosts, and his energy to want to join into all the teammatalks is amazing. Please all join me in saying a massive thank you, and well done to Ezra, the best linesman in the league.
