Manchester Valkyries B Team

🥳 The happiest of birthdays to TinyLilly! As her namesake, she is our tiniest but one of the mightiest on our team. She puts in so much effort into training and played her first ever Valkyries game this summer! Happy birthday!

👑 Valkyrie of the Match – June to August 2026!

We have been SO busy this summer. We start with our double head Five Nations games against City of Hull and Southland Sirens. Two formidable opponents, and two formidable Valkyries on track. Slice-R Pi and Quinn Reaper worked so hard, playing strategically and putting in their all in a double shift. For Quinn Reaper, this was a Valkyries debut and we are very proud!

Following up next, was our away off season game in Nottingham against the Nottingham Bolts. Quiet Riot is a phenomenally technically skilled jammer, dancing her way around walls. She also played AGAIN on the A team as a jammer. Her stamina and tenacity ius unmatched.

Finally, Snowball showed us who was boss in our off season game against local friends, Rainy City (Rising). As always, Snowball brough her gameplay knowledge, rules and pack expertise to the game. Snowball is a fantastic teammate on track and we’re proud of her really applying her knowledge and skills in this game.

💖💖 A huge congratulations and well done to our Valkyries of the Match! Management take these awards very seriously and we love showcasing our brilliant team players in this way.

The happiest of birthday to our marvellous Morgy Mogwai! Morgy is a fearless blocker, bringing power and always stopping those pesky jammers. Have a fantastic day!

👎Penalty count - Manchester Valkyries B v Rainy City, 15 August 2026. Savage editing thanks to Storm, and a shameful surprise from Missy Blitz at the end.
