A week of “doing what is possible”

One of those weeks I could have happily sat on the sofa all day watching Netflix

Start of the week got struck with an illness where honestly, I haven’t felt that bad for years… high temperature, bones were sore, shivering under the duvet

But I still showed up in the best way I possible could

For myself, for our community, for our team

I’m such a firm believer in the fact that you always have a choice

Coach .hamiltonzl made a great post about this yesterday

❌ Stop thinking “I can’t do”
✅ Start thinking “what can I do”

My nutrition for this week stayed high protein, nutrient dense, veg, fruit, salads etc and avoided the comfort food of sweets and chocolate

My water intake stayed high (4 litres a day) but I increased my electrolyte intake slightly due to abnormal sweating due to temperature

My training intensity had to be pulled back but I still entered the gym and did what my body could handle (movement is medicine)

And I brought forward my sleep routine by a further 30mins to maximise longer sleep

So many people I speak to, in moments of challenge or when they can’t be boarder line perfect, throw everything into the water

What decision do you think best serves you?

👉🏼 “I can’t do as much as usual so I won’t bother at all”
👉🏼 “What can I do in this moment to help best move me forward”

You’re always the one who gets to make the next move…

Happy Sunday team! 👊🏼

Epic to share the dance floor for the first time with at male pairs

One of those days where I can’t help but feel I let the team down… just didn’t have that usual fight and aggression to keep up with paces and intensity

Been nursing some man flu this week… which made breathing prove more difficult than usual and erg handles were not ripped from my part…

Time to recover… and focus on the next one 👀
