Did you know that throughout the summer, Stockport Basketball has been running Strength & Conditioning sessions for our players? 👊

Together, we’ve been working on developing:

🏀 Athleticism to support on-court performance

Our current summer block comes to an end this Sunday, 31st August, but that’s not the end of our commitment.

At Stockport Basketball, we believe that developing our players goes beyond basketball skills. Building strong, powerful and resilient athletes is a year-round commitment. 💚

We’re excited to continue supporting our Falcons and Lapwings as they develop both on and off the court!

It was fantastic to see our U14 Lapwings and our newly formed U12 Lapwings training together! 👏

Our U14s took on an important role, helping, supporting and encouraging the younger players as they continue to find their feet as a team. It’s a brilliant example of what being part of Stockport Basketball Club is all about — supporting each other, sharing experience and helping the next generation grow. 💚🏀

The U12s are just getting started, and having our U14s alongside them is a fantastic way to build confidence, friendships and a strong club culture.

🏀🔥 WHAT A TEST FOR OUR U14 LAPWINGS! 🔥🏀

Our U14 Lapwings came out on top in a fantastic, closely fought pre-season friendly against the FBA U19s this evening! 💪

From the opening tip, it was a tough and competitive game, providing our young Lapwings with an excellent test against older opposition.

A brilliant opportunity to challenge themselves, learn and prepare for the season ahead. 👏🏀
